Starting to feel it's going to take something extraordinary to prevent this from finishing goalless. Chelsea absolutely dominant in terms of territory and possession but chances few and far between.

César Azpilicueta heads down for Tammy Abraham in the middle of the box and the striker flicks the ball at goal but is into the body of Martin Dubravka before Matt Ritchie smashes away the loose ball.

Conor McMeekin: Somehow I'm not sure if Kante is in my starting lineup - nowhere near creative enough for his role, just looks like he absolutely loves tackling, so much so he gives it away so he can tackle someone else.

Only Joelinton is anywhere near the halfway line as Newcastle seem to be set up now to try and get a point. They are looking good for it as well with Chelsea really struggling to break them down.

Reece James is down injured again. He is able to get off the pitch and play continues with Chelsea momentarily down to 10 men. Eventually they are able to get Emerson on for the defender.
