There's been a bit of confusion at Highbury, where hosts Fleetwood thought they had gone 1-0 up only for the goal to be disallowed.

Cue manager Joey Barton kicking off and, well, you can probably guess what happened next...

Sorry, Ipswich fans, I may have just put the mockers on you.

The Tractor Boys are now 3-2 down against Lincoln thanks to Tyler Walker's second of the afternoon.

Oxford are winning the battle to go second once more, with Mark Sykes restoring their lead against AFC Wimbledon.

Rotherham are doing their bit, meanwhile, leading 2-0 against 10-man Peterborough, while Ipswich have equalised for a second time against Lincoln to make it 2-2 at Sincil Bank.

    Luke Ayling (69 mins)

    What, a, strike.

Leeds United needed something special after being pulled back from 2-0 and having the stuffing knocked out of them - boy has Luke Ayling just provided it.

There's a cross-field ball from the left and, on the run, Ayling's first touch brings him in from the right touchline and past Kristian Pedersen.

The Leeds right-back lets it bounce once then on the volley spanks the ball into the bottom corner.

    Wow.

By the way, as things stand Leeds are going top of the Championship.

    West Brom 0-1 Middlesbrough

A scare for West Brom as Sam Johnstone comes to the edge of his area to try and clear the ball - but Lewis Wing gets there ahead of the Baggies keeper.

Wing is pushed wide but finds Marcus Tavernier, who has a shot tipped over after Johnstone recovered his position.

    Andreas Weimann (66 mins)

    Game over at Ashton Gate.

Andreas Weimann is going goal crazy for Bristol City, as his clever little near-post flick from Jack Hunt's cross makes it 3-0 to Lee Johnson's side and brings up his ninth goal of the season.

Errr, does the Oldham Athletic Twitter account know they're 4-1 down to local rivals Salford City?...

  8. Cooper on the prowlpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Swansea head coach Steve Cooper is pacing up and down his technical area as he waits to see if either side will find a breakthrough at the Liberty Stadium.

His team have improved as this contest has gone on and have created more chances than their opponents.

But in-form Barnsley have been right in this game throughout, so perhaps it is understandable that Tykes boss Gerhard Struber looks more content than Cooper at this stage.

    Lukas Jutkiewicz (61 mins)

Birmingham v LeedsImage source, PA Media

From 0-2 to 2-2, Blues are level!

Leeds United have controlled this second half but it counts for nothing now.

A Birmingham corner is swung in and Kiko Casilla makes a save from the initial header, but Lukas Jutkiewicz is there to head home the rebound from close range.

It's sparked chants of "Leeds are falling apart again" from the Blues fans.

Their side have turned things around.

It's not been a good day for the EFL league leaders.

West Bromwich Albion, Wycombe Wanderers and Swindon Town are all behind as it stands, with Jake Taylor's goal putting Port Vale 2-0 up against the Robins in the fourth tier.

  11. goal

GOAL: Nottm Forest 1-0 Wiganpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Tobias Figueiredo (60 mins)

I said a goal was coming at the City Ground, but in truth it was far more likely to be a Wigan one as they were well on top.

However it's Forest who lead through Tobias Figueiredo.

Tiago Silva swings in the corner and Figueiredo heads home powerfully.

Definitely against the run of play.

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley

Swansea forward Sam Surridge thinks he's broken open a game that's building towards a goal at either end.

Andre Ayew plays the through-ball, Surridge fires home calmly, but he's offside.

Can't see this ending 0-0. There, I've said it.

  13. Postpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    West Brom 0-1 Middlesbrough

Those half-time changes have rallied West Brom.

Jake Livermore has had a powerful effort tipped over the bar by Boro keeper Aynsley Pears, while Ahmed Hegazi has sent a header past the far post as well.

The visitors will be hoping to hang on for their first away league win of the season.

    Bristol City 2-0 Luton

    DiedhiouImage source, Rex Features

Famara Diedhiou's had a couple of really good headed chances this afternoon but has twice been unable to seriously test the Luton goalkeeper.

His latest effort, from Josh Brownhill's inviting cross, probably should've just put the game to bed.

  15. Postpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Wigan

End to end stuff at the City Ground.

First Forest's Alfa Semedo charges at the defence before firing an effort just wide, then straight from the goal-kick Wigan's Antonee Robinson drives forward and plays in Josh Windass, whose goal-bound shot is well blocked.

It feels like something's about to happen.

  16. League Onepublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Ah - and now Rotherham have moved up to second thanks to Richard Wood's opener for the Millers against Peterborough.

Elsewhere, Matt Godden has just completed his hat-trick to put Coventry 4-1 up at leaders Wycombe, while Bolton have slipped back to the bottom courtesy of Daniel Udoh's equaliser for Shrewsbury.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley

Somehow Barnsley haven't taken the lead at the Liberty.

A brilliant, low cross from the left by Reds captain Alex Mowatt means the ball just needs to be touched in at the back post.

But a sliding Jacob Brown cannons his effort against the upright from all of three yards.

    It was harder to miss!

  18. Postpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Preston 0-2 Reading

Reading keeper Rafael Cabral is called into action to preserve his side's 2-0 lead.

The Brazilian tips over Billy Bodin's strike from 25 yards out.

  19. Postpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Fulham 1-0 Stoke

The Potters have an early chance on the banks of the Thames, as Sam Clucas sends an angled shot into the side-netting from inside the area.

  20. League One latestpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Any one of four different clubs could end the decade in second place in League One. It's ridiculously tight.

Oxford looked well set to be the team doing just that, but Joe Pigott's equaliser for AFC Wimbledon against the U's means just one point now separates the sides from second down to seventh.
