It's all going to plan for West Bromwich Albion and their boss Slaven Bilic so far this season.

Top of the Championship, the Baggies have an 11-point cushion to the play-off places and have suffered just once defeat in the league this season.

Albion are unbeaten in 14 games - although they have drawn their past two games against Brentford and Barnsley either side of Christmas.

Visitors Middlesbrough haven't had the finest of seasons but have lifted themselves away from the relegation zone in the past few weeks.

Boro have just registered back-to-back wins for the first time this campaign, beating fellow strugglers Stoke and Huddersfield Town.

But the Teessiders are yet to win away from home in the Championship under boss Jonathan Woodgate, who took charge this summer.

    Wave goodbye to the 2010s

Good afternoon and welcome to our live text coverage of the final round of EFL matches this decade.

Newcastle United - now in the Premier League - began the 2010s on top of the Championship, and it looks like West Brom will have the honour of closing the year at the summit.

After some late goal madness on Boxing Day, which saw 11 goals scored after the 80-minute mark across the 12 fixtures, perhaps the last fixtures of 2019 will provide more drama.

We've got our football hats on and we'll bring you every goal from the Championship as they go in, with regular updates from League One and League Two.
