Thanks for joining us this afternoon, on a day when Chelsea surrendered their advantage in the race to win the WSL title back from Arsenal.

The Gunners and Manchester City both won comfortably, but the Blues could only draw at bottom club Liverpool.

They'll have plenty of time to think about it as well because the WSL takes its Christmas break now, returning for a full round of fixtures on Sunday, 5 January.

We hope to see you then!

It's been a great day for Arsenal and Man City.

Their respective wins over Everton and Brighton came before Chelsea's uncharacteristic slip-up.

Emma Hayes' side were held to a draw at bottom club Liverpool, handing the initiative in the title race back to Arsenal, who now have a three-point lead at the summit.

Reading break from a Spurs corner in the 98th minute and momentarily have a four on one.

    Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea

It's all over and just how crucial could those dropped points by Chelsea be in the title race?

Emma Hayes' side were punished for a very slow start, Niamh Charles scrambled in from a free-kick after just four minutes. They did equalise through a Beth England header 10 minutes later but then they looked short of ideas.

They have a game in hand, but are now third, a point behind Manchester City and four behind champions Arsenal.

For Liverpool, it's just their third point of the season after a brilliant battling display. Bristol City's game was postponed, so the Reds climb off the bottom.
