  1. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Man City 5-0 Brighton

All over another three points for Manchester City.

The perfect way to respond to defeat at Chelsea last weekend from Nick Cushing's side as first-half goals from Steph Houghton, Ellen White and Lauren Hemp are added to late on by Georgia Stanway and Pauline Bremer.

    Job done, emphatically.

They'll stay three points behind Arsenal if the leaders close out they're win against Everton.

    Chelsea level.

Guro Reiten is played in down the left-hand side, she gets to the bye-line and delivers a perfect cross into the six-yard box.

Beth England meets it with a powerful header and there was no keeping that one out from the England striker.

    Normal service resumed.

    Pauline Bremer (86 mins)

    Media caption,

Pauline Bremer scores City's fifth goal

    This is now a rout.

Not the prettiest goal that Pauline Bremer will ever score as she knees a cross in to make it 5-0.

    They all count though right?

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Everton 1-3 Arsenal

A final change for the hosts as Abbey-Leigh Stringer comes on for Lucy Graham for the final 10 minutes.

  5. goal

GOAL: Man City 4-0 Brightonpublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Georgia Stanway (80 mins)

Georgia Stanway has been superb this afternoon but not quite had the composure in from of goal - now she has.

It's a simple ball over the top and she goes around Brighton keeper Sophie Harris then taps in.

    Easy.

  6. CLOSE!published at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Liverpool 1-0 Chelsea

That early goal has woken Chelsea up, but they're going a bit too crazy and should now be 2-0 down.

Rinsola Babajide has twice broken away, the second time she pulls the ball back perfectly for the onrushing Niamh Charles, who goes to finish just 12 yards out with the goal gaping but hits fresh air. After already scoring once, she maybe got a little too excited.

    Chelsea all over the shop.

  7. goal

GOAL: Everton 1-3 Arsenalpublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Chloe Kelly (78 mins)

Is there a twist left in the tale?

From a long ball forward, a tiny mistake in the Arsenal defence is capitalised on, and Chloe Kelly sends a low, first-time finish flashing past Manuela Zinsberger from just inside the box.

A goal against her former club for the Everton forward.

One more could prompt a wobble for the visitors...

  8. goal

GOAL: Liverpool 1-0 Chelseapublished at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Niamh Charles (6 mins)

This was NOT in the script.

Chelsea, unbeaten all season, have started really sloppily and been punished for it. Liverpool, bottom of the table and winless, have stunned them.

Kirsty Linnett swings in a free-kick and after some pinball in the area it's Niamh Charles who puts her foot through it and finds the bottom corner.

    Wow.

  9. Postpublished at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Everton 0-3 Arsenal

Arsenal keeper Manuela Zinsberger has not made a save of real note this afternoon.

The Gunners are cruising to a sixth successive win in the WSL, and what will be their ninth consecutive league win over Everton.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Double change for the hosts.

Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and Molly Pike come on for Hannah Cain and Kika Van Es.

We have 22 minutes remaining at Southport.

  13. Postpublished at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Everton 0-3 Arsenal

Everton have had a decent spell since going 3-0 down, threatening the visiting defence.

But Arsenal have held firm, putting in some good blocks and managing to cut out and clear the danger on each occasion before keeper Manuela Zinsbergeris is troubled.

  14. Postpublished at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Man City 3-0 Brighton

Brighton have been livened up by that disallowed goal and are running just a little bit quicker. But as has been case, Albion are unable to create anything.

In fact, it's City who almost make it 4-0 as Steph Houghton drags a shot wide from a corner.

  15. goal

GOAL: Everton 0-3 Arsenalpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Vivianne Miedema (57 mins)

It looks like it is game over now.

Leonie Maier sends in a low cross from the right and Vivianne Miedema is unmarked at the back post to tap in.

Miedema's second of the game, and that is two goals in three minutes for Arsenal.

The visitors have plenty of time to add to their tally, too.

  16. goal

GOAL: Everton 0-2 Arsenalpublished at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Kim Little pen (55 mins)

Scotland international Kim Little dusts herself down and makes no mistake from the spot.

She sends Everton keeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela the wrong way and slots into the bottom right-hand corner.

That gives Arsenal some breathing space, and means the Gunners are on course to remain top of the WSL table.

  17. PENALTY TO ARSENALpublished at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Everton 0-1 Arsenal

Chloe Kelly shoves Kim Little in the back in the Everton box, and referee Ben Speedie points to the spot!

Everton can't really have any complaints about the decision. It was needless from Kelly.

  18. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Man City 3-0 Brighton

We have just had a bit of a Diego Maradona moment at the Academy Stadium. Well, O'm reaching. The referee didn't spot it, but did rule the goal out.

A cross comes from the Brighton left and Ini Umotong undoubtedly goes for the ball with her hand, but I don't think she touches it, or Man City keeper Ellie Roebuck.

Roebuck spills the ball into her own net and the referee disallows the goal for a nudge on the keeper.

    Lucky, lucky.

  19. Postpublished at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Everton 0-1 Arsenal

Everton keeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela makes a good save, sprawling to her left to keep out a low effort from Danielle Van de Donk.

That one was heading into the corner.

  20. Postpublished at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Everton 0-1 Arsenal

Everton have the first opening of the second half, but Megan Finnigan sends her header from a corner well over the Arsenal bar.

Everton have won four of their past five WSL games at home, but have a long way top go to notch another three points.
