An entertaining tie so far at Fratton Park and Portsmouth are still going strong in their effort to find a goal against Altrincham.

On this occasion, John Marquis puts a lovely cross across the face of goal but none of his Pompey teammates can get on the end of it.

Some great one-touch football being played by Portsmouth, who are giving their sixth-tier opponents plenty to think about so far.

A good - and quick - spell of passing results in Marcus Harness seeing the ball, but his shot from outside the box is collected by Altrincham keeper Tony Thompson.

Fylde are looking to reach the FA Cup third round for the first time in their history.

And they've got a real chance of doing it today against seventh-tier Kingstonian.

No big chances of note so far but Fylde are dominating possession.

Portsmouth are peppering the Altrincham goal with an array of shots in the early stages of this second round tie.

Ronan Curtis heads a good chance wide from close range before John Marquis has his shot blocked after some good work from Ellis Harrison.

Also, the Fratton Park pitch is giving me some very strong 90s Match of the Day vibes thanks to its immaculate geometric pattern. Fantastic.
