    Celtic dominated that first half. As the game wore on, Rennes started to retreat further and further into their own half and Celtic's intensity has been upped as the half wore on. It's good to see players who feature in the national team competing well at this level

    Rangers battled to a draw away to Feyenoord earlier to top Group G ahead of final fixtures with all four teams going into those with a chance of qualifying for the last 32.

    Home head coach Dick Advocaat tells the media that Alfredo Morelos' quality "made the difference" in the second-half with his two goals for Rangers.

    "We knew Stevie would say something to them at half time, but they had more possession without clear chances," he says.

    "There's still possibilities for us in the second half, but it's about scoring goals. Their striker is a great striker because he scored two goals, but for the rest of the time I didn't see him. He is still a good striker.

    "That makes the difference."

    It's a howler from the goalkeeper, but it's well-worked by Celtic. They built the play, moved the ball and drew Rennes out. As soon as Ryan Christie moved on his left foot, Lewis Morgan makes a great run he could have taken, but Christie took the shot on and the goalkeeper makes a real mess of it.     Having already qualified for the last 32, Celtic are heading there as Group E winners after a dominant display against Rennes.

    The French side have dropped from second bottom when they drew with Celtic in the opening game of the group to 11th now and you can see why.

    Celtic manager Neil Lennon surprised with his team selection, with Lewis Morgan leading the line in place of the injured Odsonne Edouard and the winger responded with his second goal for the club.

    When the team was announced, we thought Ryan Christie would be up there, but playing his normal midfield role didn't prevent him adding the second with his 14th goal of the season.

    Just as it looked Celtic would have to settle for a one-goal lead at the break, Ryan Christie picks it up 20 yards from goal and his low drive bounces in front of Edouard Mendy and over the prone goalkeeper.

    Celtic have gradually improved as this game has gone on. It was a bit of a sluggish start with some slow passing, but as this has played out they've definitely improved and are thoroughly deserving of this 1-0 lead
