I think some may be casting their mind back to that Celtic game and don't want a repeat of that, that's for sure. It's a bit disappointing - it could have been a better turnout - as it's the perfect night for a game of football and it's a mouth watering chance for Aberdeen to put the record straight after that Celtic defeat. And obviously get a little bit of revenge of the Ibrox defeat.

Hearts are playing some decent stuff in these early skirmishes.

They'll try to get up and support Sam Cosgrove but it looks as though it's a very competitive set-up with those two almost defenders in midfield sitting in front to prevent an early goal.

Hearts burst into life at Tynecastle with Sean Clare's looping header volleyed straight at Matija Sarkic from a tight angle.

The visitors are aiming to break the deadlock early in the first half at Pittodrie as James Tavernier fires in a free-kick, the ball breaks to Scott Arfield and his effort is deflected for a corner.
