  6. 'Edouard not 100% for Sunday' - Lennonpublished at 19:43

    Celtic v Hamilton Accies

Neil Lennon has made three changes to his Celtic side tonight, speaking to BBC Sportsound about his selection he said: "We’re rotating a little bit. Jullien got a few knocks on Sunday so we didn’t want to take a chance on him and Bitton is ready to play. We’ve rotated the full-backs quite a bit this season and tonight is no different."

On the players missing from tonight's squad and their chances of playing on Sunday, Lennon replied: "Bolingoli and Hayes will train tomorrow and we are hoping Elyounoussi will train tomorrow as well. With Odsonne Edouard it’s a day by day thing. It’s been a short term injury but whether he will be fit for the final or not, we are assessing that. We are hoping he will be ready for Sunday but if he's not we can't take that risk. We’re hopeful, but it's not 100%, and I'm not playing games with anyone."

    Aberdeen v Rangers (19:45)

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has been speaking to Sky Sports before kick-off at Pittodrie: "It would be very naive of us to forget about the challenge that's about to smack us in the face. The rivalry's probably more than what I thought before I came here, that's fine, that's what football's about."

On Borna Barisic, who's rested for tonight: "He's had a couple of kicks in the same area on his foot, he's had a couple of jabs to play layely but maybe this one was a little bit too far so we thought we'd give him a few days to let it calm down."

  13. MacPhee unsure of future at Heartspublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Hearts v Livingston (19:45)

Hearts have made an offer to former Barnsley man Daniel Stendel to become their new manager, but interim boss Austin MacPhee doesn't know much more than that about the quest for Craig Levein's successor.

Asked if he had been given any indication about his own future, MacPhee replied: "No. It’s best that that is discussed once they manage to get their preferred candidate and we can then see what the lie of the land is.

Austin MacPhee: "I just need to focus on getting Hearts three points tonight"

"I just need to focus on getting Hearts three points tonight, and if I’m asked, to get three points on Saturday. I don’t think me knowing more than you at this point would help the team win.

"I’m in the same position that I was for most of the weeks that I’ve been speaking to you. [Daniel Stendel] seems to be the preferred candidate but as [Hearts owner] Mrs Budge has mentioned yesterday, it’s been quite a protracted negotiation with his previous club as well. I really know as much as you just now."

  14. Livingston 'going to war' - Holtpublished at 19:35

    Hearts v Livingston (19:45)

Livingston manager Gary Holt tells BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound: "Scott Robinson gives us that energy, grit, determination and a wee bit of nastiness about him. He’s infectious. Steve Lawson did okay on Saturday but okay doesn’t keep you in the team. It’s a chance to freshen it up again.

"Hearts are no mugs. They’re a massive club. Yes, we know the situation they’re in. Will that spur them on? That’s what we’ve got to be wary of.

  15. Ross accentuates the positive for Hibspublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 December 2019

    Ross County v Hibernian (19:45)

Hibs threw away a 2-0 lead at home to Kilmarnock on Saturday, conceding a 93rd-minute equaliser, but manager Jack Ross remains upbeat as he looks to extend his unbeaten run.

"We were disappointed not to win on Saturday but our performance for large parts was really good," he tells BBC Sportsound. "We've been emphasising that in preparation for tonight.

  16. 'Taylor brings experience' - McInnespublished at 19:28

    Aberdeen v Rangers (19:45)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has been explaining his team selection as the Sportsound team scratch their heads about exactly what system he has opted for.

Firstly on the return of Ash Taylor having been out injured since July, McInnes said: "I think Ash has been training now for a few weeks and his experience in this fixture is important. I think the last time at Ibrox I felt we were short of a bit of experience throughout the team and I think he gives us good experience and aggression in that position.

On the 5-0 drubbing at Ibrox last time these sides met, McInnes said: "It's difficult to forget that day, I said after it was probably as sobering an experience I've had in 90 minutes. I felt helpless on the sidelines because Rangers were rampant and we were anything but. We're still not full strength, but for this game we're in a strong position in terms of form and personnel."

  17. 'I've probably got the hardest job in Britain' - Ricepublished at 19:26

    Celtic v Hamilton Accies (19:45)

Hamilton manager Brian Rice tells BBC Scotland's Sportsound: "We’re under no illusions. I've probably got the hardest job in Britain tonight, but it's not all about Celtic. I want to know where we are as a club and where my young kids are at in terms of coming to a venue like this.

"If we want to show ambition we can't have ‘free games’. We've got to come here and do as best as we can and try to take something out the game."

Forward David Moyo makes his first start for the Lanarkshire side tonight, and on his selection Rice added: "David's got stronger and fitter. He's been scoring in the reserves and he's had to bide his time. What a place to make your debut."

    St Mirren v Motherwell (19:45)

Seven of St Mirren's points in the Scottish Premiership have come at home and manager Jim Goodwin is hopeful that his side can add to that tally tonight against a good Motherwell side.

He tells BBC Scotland: "I'm not sure if Motherwell should be afraid. But we've certainly enjoyed playing here in the league up till now. Hopefully we can add to the points tally that we've collated here so far.

"Of course, this is a tough one. Motherwell played very well in the last meeting at Fir Park. Particularly in the first half. They passed us off the park and we probably gave them too much respect. We hope tonight will be different. It will be a completely different set up from us in terms of formation and how we'll approach the game."

  20. Brophy returns for Killie, Wright rings the changespublished at 19:17
