  1. Seven Celtic changespublished at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Celtic v Hibernian (15:00)

How will Celtic respond to Rangers' win? Added pressure on them?

Neil Lennon's side entertain Hibs in less than an hour and, after playing a shadow side in the Europa League dead rubber on Thursday, has named no less than seven changes from the side that started in Romania.

In defence, Jeremie Frimpong comes in at right-back, with a back three that includes Kristoffer Ajer alongside Nir Bitton and Christopher Jullien.

In midfield, Scott Brown and Callum McGregor return to play alongside Olivier Ntcham, while James Forrest is on the wing and Odsonne Edouard is brought back to play up front.

You're being abused as a footballer constantly and you give a little bit back. The fans take some umbridge to that and it causes a surge and then he's sent off. I've done it before. So what? He's not jumped the barrier, but now he'll be missing the next game, which is a blow to Gerrard and the squad

  6. FULL-TIME Motherwell 0-2 Rangerspublished at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

Rangers move to the top of the Premiership after easing to victory in what was expected to be a tough game away to in-form Motherwell.

Nikita Katic's fine header set them on course and Alfredo Morelos capped off another fine performance with a typically controversial finish - scoring and then being sent off for gesturing at the home fans.

Rangers' 10 men never looked under threat of losing their lead and one point ahead of Celtic, who kick off in just over an hour against Hibs.

Motherwell fail to record a fourth consecutive victory and remain fourth behind Aberdeen.

Goldson has led by example in the back line. Rangers defence is compact and narrow - and they are keeping pressure on them

  17. Postpublished at 74mins

    Motherwell 0-2 Rangers

Motherwell will be hoping to take advantage of Rangers going down to 10 men, but they will need to do better than Devante Cole's slash at the ball from eight yards as the striker sends it high into the stand behind the goal as it falls to him in a crowded goalmouth at a corner.

  18. Deserved second yellowpublished at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2019

    Motherwell 0-2 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

He's got all those Rangers fans to go celebrate with. The fans give players abuse during the whole game and the reason he's been yellow carded again is because he's created a surge by giving it back to the Motherwell fans a little bit

  19. RED CARD Morelos (Rangers)published at 68mins

    Motherwell 0-2 Rangers

Alfredo Morelos adds to his diary of controversy in his time at Rangers as he earns a second yellow card for a gesture to the Motherwell fans following his goal.

That's his first red card of a season in which it looked like he had kept a lid on his suspect temper.

  20. GOAL Motherwell 0-2 RANGERSpublished at 68mins

    Alfredo Morelos

Alfredo Morelos gets the goal his play has threatened.

Joe Aribo's low cross finds the Colombian 10 yards out and, although the striker's shot is blocked, he spins to fire the rebound behind goalkeeper Mark Gillespie.
