    Southampton

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl speaking to BBC MOTD: "It was clear after the goal they get more space. I think we played the best we can, working against the ball like a top team.

"The 10-15 seconds of the decision making was too short for me because it's not that easy to see. We had a lot of things today where we entered the box and should have scored but didn't. you need a perfect game [against Liverpool] .

"Congratulations to Liverpool. We tried to press them and make early pressure. It was a nice to watch game. To play in this ground is a massive experience for everybody. We could not take points but I enjoyed it

    Bournemouth 1-0 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Dean Smith speaking with Match of the Day: "We didn’t start particularly well, they picked up too many second balls and ended up with territorial advantage in the first half.

"I wasn’t happy with the first half and how we played 11v11 but the second half, after they had a man set off, was better, although we did not do enough with possession.

"They have had a man sent off and after that we have dominated possession but have not done enough to create clear-cut chances to get ourselves back and deserved to lose in the end."

On Jefferson Lerma's sending-off: "The red card was soft, there were a few decisions out there that left a lot of people scratching their heads."

On their reaction after winning through to the Carabao Cup final: "They weren’t thinking about the cup semi-final today, the focus was on Bournemouth. It is a tough place to come - a small stadium, fans can be on top of you and we didn’t work as hard as we should 11 v 11."

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti, speaking to BBC MOTD: "Football is so unpredictable. We were looking to go home with a draw because we had 10 men but we did a fantastic counter-attack.

"Honestly,we didn't deserve to equalise in the first half but I think with what happened last week and this week we deserved to win.

"The spirit is really good. We had fantastic support from our fans. We are really happy for them because to win these away games is really good for our confidence."

On Fabian Delph's red card: "I think it was the wrong decision by the referee. I think we were lucky to score at the end. We have to stay focused, improve and be confident because this squad has good quality."
