Bernd Leno reads the deflection well but he's got to catch that - he palms it round the post for a corner and Newcastle get another chance.

The corner is played out to Sean Longstaff, who is lurking on the edge of the box. He hits it on the volley - Paul Scholes style! - but scuffs it.

It takes a hefty deflection off Dani Ceballos and Bernd Leno just about gets a touch on it.

Moments later, Allan Saint-Maximin beats Ceballos on the left all too easily and his cut-back is poked inches wide by Joelinton. Newcastle should be in front!

Mesut Ozil fouls Miguel Almiron needlessly from the throw-in. Newcastle have a free-kick on the right, which Valentino Lazaro will take.

It's a good delivery too and Granit Xhaka's header isn't kept in by Bernd Leno. Corner.

Now there's two guys who have not been to the barbers in a while.

Arsenal are controlling possession but Newcastle are well organised at the back. Dani Ceballos lifts it over to Hector Bellerin on the right but his header bounces harmlessly wide.

Former Newcastle goalkeeper and now first-team coach Steve Harper is sitting behind me and screams "HAS TO BE A YELLOW CARD! HAS TO BE!" when he saw that Granit Xhaka tug.

He gets his wish.

Valentino Lazaro has been a real star on the right-hand side for Newcastle so far. He's working really hard up and down that flank.

At least it's not Jose Mourinho's barber...

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tries a one-two with Bukayo Saka but the return won't reach him.

Newcastle go up the other end but Miguel Almiron's pass over to Allan Saint-Maximin is way too long. Granit Xhaka then goes into the book for an off-the-ball tug of a shirt. Naughty!

Allan Saint-Maximin thinks he's fouled by Granit Xhaka as he tries to turn him on the backline. It looks just outside the box anyway but there's a few faint appeals for a penalty.

I'll give it until 20 minutes before they get bored of booing Danny Rose every time he touches the ball.

Great play from Joelinton on the left. He curls a deep cross into the box, which clears the head of Bukayo Saka and falls for Valentino Lazaro.

His first touch is good but his rushed shot is deflected wide.

Arsenal's atmosphere is often criticised but someone in the Clock End has brought a drum in and is giving it a right old hammering.

I like it.

The corner's cleared at the near post and Newcastle win a goal kick when Danny Rose's clearance rebounds off Dani Ceballos.

Hector Bellerin is played in on the right and he tries to whip it across early. Allan Saint-Maximin comes across to deflect it out for a corner.

Sweeping ball over to Bukayo Saka on the left. He controls it nicely and links up with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal are then forced back but are moving the ball around nicely.
