On the pressures of being England’s number one:

When you're England's number one, you're held to a different standard to the other keepers. When you're a striker, if you miss three chances but score a goal then everyone says how good the goal was. When you're a keeper, you can make three world-class saves and let one in, and that's what they'll talk about. It comes with the territory, it's no surprise when that scrutiny comes when you're England's number one. Pickford knows that, he's aware of it and he'll be able to deal with it.

Arsenal could welcome back several players, with defender Sead Kolasinac and midfielder Reiss Nelson in contention following thigh injuries.

New signing Cedric Soares, who arrived from Southampton with a knee issue, will not return to full training until the end of February.

Newcastle are still missing a raft of senior players, although Joelinton and Miguel Almiron are expected to return.

Yoshinori Muto and Dwight Gayle will be assessed but Andy Carroll remains out.

Aston Villa manager Dean Smith makes two changes from the side that started their 2-1 Premier League defeat at Bournemouth on 1 February.

Tyrone Mings is missing while Marvelous Nakamba drops to the bench. Bjorn Engels and Danny Drinkwater both start.

Ben Davies and Eric Dier both start as Giovani Lo Celso and Japhet Tanganga drop to the bench.

Aston Villa's seven Premier League victories this season have come on six different days of the week, with Sunday the exception. They could become just the second team in English top-flight history to win a league game on all seven days of the week within the same season, emulating Spurs in 1986-87.

Jose Mourinho says his Tottenham side are among at least five clubs "smelling the opportunity" to finish in the Champions League spots.

Spurs are sixth in the table, four points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Speaking to BBC One's Football Focus, Mourinho said: "First of all, I see much more clubs than people think.

"Sometimes it looks like, because Chelsea are the fourth and sometimes Tottenham is in fifth and Manchester United are the sixth, we are smelling the opportunity.

"I think people forget there are big contenders - Wolves, Sheffield United, Manchester United, even Arsenal, so it's not just about what's the distance between us and Chelsea."

Kyle: The race for 5th could be big and just as exciting as 4th. If Newcastle win today and it wouldn't surprise me with the way Arsenal have played, and the fact we have already beaten Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester United, and Spurs don't win then we are 5 points off 5th.

Tottenham are currently in sixth place, four points behind Chelsea in fourth going into today's game.

They would leapfrog Sheffield United with victory at Villa Park.

Arsenal are down in 11th, six points behind their north London rivals and 10 points off fourth spot. They could break into the top 10 with a win today.

Liverpool's unstoppable charge towards their first top-flight title in 30 years carried on as they edged a narrow victory over bottom-of-the-table Norwich.

Sadio Mane came off the bench to score the winner with 12 minutes remaining, meaning Liverpool need just five more wins from their remaining 12 games.

They have dropped just two points all campaign, and lie a mammoth 25 points clear of champions Manchester City.

Earlier on Saturday, Matej Vydra's superb goal boosted Burnley's hopes of playing in Europe for the second time in three years as they won a weather-affected game at Southampton.

The result lifted the Clarets up to 10th, five points behind Sheffield United in fifth.

Danny Drinkwater has recovered from the calf injury that caused him to miss that match.

Giovani Lo Celso is fit again but Erik Lamela faces a fitness test and Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko remain out.
