Allan Saint-Maximin is such an exciting player.

The few thousand Newcastle fans that have made the trip down lean forward that few inches more whenever he gets on the ball.

The actual quality in the final third, for both sides, is just falling down. Neither sides can break down their opponents' backline.

Miguel Almiron sees a gap and sprints through it, beating three players and running most of the length of the pitch.

He is all on his own though and can't get past the two centre-backs on the edge of the area.

It was a bit scrappy but when Bukayo Saka gets the ball on the edge of the box, he just scoops at it and it wasn't too far away from the far top corner.

The loan signing of Valentino Lazaro looks a shrewd piece of business by Newcastle.

Not the first player they have brought in from Inter Milan - Obafemi Martins and Emre Belozoglu spring to mind from the 2000s.

Anyway, Austrian full-back Lazaro looks a really confident player, always wanting the ball on this near touchline.

His 14 touches so far is the most of any visiting player.

Ooh, nice! Valentino Lazaro pulls out the party tricks to get away down the right. He won't get any further though.

I was looking at how this Newcastle team would get in behind the Arsenal backline because Joelinton doesn't have a lot of pace.

But to be fair, Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin are getting high up the pitch and the full-backs are bombing on whenever they can too.
