West Ham make three changes from their 3-2 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on Monday. Deadline Day and £18m signing Jarrod Bowen makes his first start since joining from Hull while club-record transfer Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals also come in.

Palace putting Christian Benteke up there has given Jordan Ayew more freedom as a wide player.

Credit to Benkteke he does it so well and brings people in.

There are four changes for Bournemouth after defeat at Burnley last weekend - Ryan Fraser starts as Nathan Ake returns after sustaining a kick to the head in training.

Jefferson Lerma is also back in the starting XI following a rib problem, as does Lewis Cook.

Harry Wilson, Dan Gosling, Andrew Surman and Simon Francis all drop out.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard makes two changes to the side dismantled by Bayern Munich in midweek, as Pedro and Fikayo Tomori replace Antonio Rudiger and Ross Barkley.

Willy Caballero keeps his place in goal ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Olivier Giroud again leads the line in the absence of Tammy Abraham.

Brighton have been dominating all the play, but you have to give credit to Christian Benteke. He missed that early chance but he made up for it with that pass, it was a nice disguised ball through and he just gave Ayew the chance for a 1v1 and he finished it lovely.

They've defended superbly and they've taken that one opportunity and now they have the lead.

Jordan Ayew has equalled his best ever goal tally in a Premier League season (seven - also 2017-18 with Swansea and 2015-16 with Aston Villa).

22 of Ayew's 23 Premier League goals have been scored in the second half (96%).

Jarrod Bowen makes his first start for West Ham since an £18m deadline-day move from Hull.

Top scorer Danny Ings is only on the bench for Southampton.

Palace are level on points with Everton as it stands, who were being talked about as European contenders about 10 days ago.

That goal came in front of the away end who are in raucous mood now. A flare is let off, smoke filling the Sussex sky.

Brighton will use Glenn Murray as a target man and get runners off him. Graham Potter has been urging them on urging them on, but they just haven't had the quality in the final third and that's why Murray is on.

It's rude to point - Gary Cahill has his finger in the face of Neal Maupay after a clash on the sidelines. Nothing doing. It's been that sort of game.

Maupay then gives it away after a good run. He then cuts inside smartly but fires in a shot straight at Vicente Guaita.

Best bit of Solly March all day as he beats his man, cuts into the box, sees a cross cut out and then whacks the loose ball high over the top.

It's his last touch as he's replaced by Glenn Murray.
