We've seen some interesting images from squad photoshoots for Euro 2020, perhaps none more so than this one of Wales defender Ben Davies.

It's as if he's announcing he's pregnant, not preparing to play at an international tournament.

As Wales prepare to kick-off Euro 2020 against Switzerland, cast your mind back almost exactly five years to 11 June 2016.

Wales began their impressive run to the semi-finals with an opening Group A game against Slovakia.

But can you recall the 11 players who lined-up for the start of that game in Bordeaux?

    Have a crack.

  8. Good afternoonpublished at 11:59 British Summer Time 12 June 2021

    Wales v Switzerland (14:00 BST)

    Good afternoon,

Here we go then. This is not a drill.

A year ago I was writing live pages for classic Wales matches from the 1970s and and now here we are, finally, ready to watch Wales' first Euro 2020 match as they face Switzerland in the heat of Baku.

You're excited, I'm excited, this is what it is all about.

You don't need me to tell you that this is only Wales' third appearance at a major finals, nor will you need reminding that many pundits believe Robert Page's side will struggle to get out of Group A.

Let's just remember that pundits didn't exactly fancy Wales to get out of their group five years ago at Euro 2016 and we all remember how that turned out.

We are still a while away from hearing that all-important team news, but in the meantime, we've got a tonne of content for you.

Wales at the Euros. Here we go.
