    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

    Neil McCann
Former Hearts & Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

What a save again! The keeper's going the other way. Dykes just stabs at it because he's not expecting it. Vaclik stretches out his right foot and stops it going in the back of the net.

  7. 'Dykes has to do better'published at 15:25 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

    James McFadden
    Former Scotland forward

    Quote Message

It is a brilliant save, but he has to do better. Lyndon Dykes can maybe take a touch. He brings much to the team, but when he has that opportunity, he has to take it

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 65 mins

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

A great chance for Lyndon Dykes as the ball falls to him inside the box. The big Scotland striker prods a first-time shot on target but Tomas Vaclik sticks out of a foot to keep it out.

  9. 'Time for a back four?published at 15:23 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

    Quote Message

It is now officially desperation time. Do you go to a back four and bring on a player in the wide areas who can go past a player. They have to take some chances because Scotland need at least a point out of this, at the moment it looks a long way from that.

  10. Stunning second for Schickpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

  11. Hendry hits the woodworkpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

  12. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

Scotland threaten from the corner as Che Adams does well to nod the ball back into the six yard box. Lyndon Dykes gets a touch but the goalie is out well to block.

  13. CLOSE!published at 61 mins

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

A super, thrusting run from Stuart Armstrong straight down the middle and then he lets fly with a shot that spins off a defender and rustles against the roof of the net.

  14. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

Scotland are in a hurry to find a way back but the ball just won't drop for Lyndon Dykes in a busy Czech penalty area.

  15. 'You have to be able to get back in'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Quote Message

David Marshall finds himself a long, long way out of goal. Its a brilliant finish by Patrik Schick, but if you are that far out as the 'keeper, you better be able to get back in. The question has to be asked why he's so far out of goal, because Scotland don't use their goalkeeper as an extra defender.

  16. 'You have to applaud that class'published at 15:12 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic

    Neil McCann
Former Scotland winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

I'm sitting here as a Scotsman and I'm gutted, but you have to applaud that class, skill, and execution. He's shaped it outside the post, and brought it back underneath the crossbar beyond David Marshall. That's as good a goal as I've seen for a long time.

  17. goal

Scotland 0-2 Czech Republicpublished at 52 mins

    Patrik Schick

Patrik Schick strikes again to silence Hampden and what a shot it is!

The Czech centre forward is just a couple of steps inside the Scotland half as he hammers a lofted effort over the head of David Marshall and into the net.

    Incredible.

  18. 'Couple of inches lower and he scores'published at 15:08 British Summer Time 14 June 2021

    Scotland 0-1 Czech Republic

    Neil McCann
Former Scotland winger on BBC Sportsound

    Quote Message

Great effort from Jack Hendry, lovely controlled effort - a couple of inches lower and he scores. A really good ball in from Andy Robertson, and Dykes' presence up there causes confusion

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 49 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Czech Republic

Almost a freak own goal as a Czech defender has a hack at a long pass over the top from Stuart Armstrong. It looks like the ball is looping over the keeper but Tomas Vaclik is able to paw it away.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 48 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Czech Republic

A good response to that shaky opening to the second half as Jack Hendry curls a shot against the crossbar from the edge of the box after the keeper punches clear under pressure from Lyndon Dykes.
