    Sweden v Slovakia (14:00 BST)

Slovakia captain Marek Hamsik: "Sweden have been playing the same football for many years, have been together for a long time and have cohesive and aggressive players.

"We should match them if we do not want them to beat us. However, entering the championship helped us to be in positive mood and we have to show it again on the pitch."

  2. 'Not a Spain type of game'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Sweden v Slovakia (14:00 BST)

Sweden coach Janne Andersson: "Slovakia played in a clear way in a number of games now. Our analysis is that it's not a Spain type of game that we'll meet, it'll be a different type of game.

"We expect to have a little more ball in the build-up phase and we'll have to drive the match forward more. They sit quite deep and they are very good in their counter-attacking phase."

Slovakia surprised a few people with their win over Poland and that result means the onus will be on Sweden to break them down - the exact opposite of their approach against Spain.

  11. What can Sweden do?published at 13:17 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Sweden v Slovakia (14:00 BST)

A win would not guarantee Sweden a place in the last 16 but with this new format of some third-placed teams going through, it would be unlikely four points wouldn't be enough.

Similar for Slovakia if this is a draw.

At Euro 2016 every team with three points and a level goal difference got into the last 16.

  12. Sweden dig in for pointpublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Sweden withheld near constant Spain pressure to draw their opening game 0-0 in Seville.

Alexander Isak had a rare Swedish chance when he hit the post.
