Really good two or three minutes for Wales.

What I like is that we're being very patient when in possession. Every time Denmark attack and get the ball, this crowd goes off.

What they got to do is maintain possession, keep the ball and try to quiet this crowd down.

Nathan Blake said on Radio Wales Sport last night that he thought a vintage Gareth Bale performance was not far away.

Judging by this start, that could come today.

    Really good spell for Wales.

Daniel James runs at the Danish defence and they scramble clear.

Bale then shoots wide from very far out.

But it's all Wales, all of a sudden.

Absolutely fantastic play from Gareth Bale. He's really in the mood.

It was a great drive, great attempt.

It's been a good start to the game from both sides it doesn't look like there are many neves there.

    Oooof.

A lovely run by Daniel James opens up space for Gareth Bale and he cuts inside and shoots left-footed, but the ball went just wide.

    A scare for Denmark.

  8. Can someone turn the volume down please?published at 9 mins

    Wales 0-0 Denmark

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Johan Cruyff Arena

There have been a couple of moments when Wales' centre-backs have seemed unsure whether or not they should head clear or leave it for goalkeeper Danny Ward.

Might they be struggling to communicate with one another? It's loud here.

    Wales 0-0 Denmark

Nice start to this game. Good tempo from both sides, good atmosphere.

A first shot as well, but Kasper Dolberg's effort is awful and miles off target.

That's what you want. Get the opposition backed up into their own half, keep the ball and get Aaron Ramsey on it early.

It's good one touch football by Wales.

At times I think we will see three on three when the wingbacks of Denmark are pushed high.

It's a good start by both teams. Daniel James was just unable to get to the end of the ball, he was gone if he did.

Really great atmosphere here, party atmosphere.

Good pressure from Wales. They are pinning Denmark back.

Nice. Slick passing by Wales, but Dan James just can't get onto Joe Allen's pass.

Wales were away if he did. A positive sign for Rob Page's men.

    Wales v Denmark (17:00 BST)

The few Wales fans in Amsterdam made themselves heard during the anthems.

Let's be honest though, this is a home game for Denmark, for all intents and purposes. There are four times the numbers we expected.

Moments away, how are your nerves?
