You know what, you've got to be really proud of the players. It's a huge, huge moment for Gareth Southgate. The players have to go out there and deliver in such a pressurized situation they put a game plan together and stuck to it, and to a man they were absolutely brilliant.

In the stands, David Beckham is grinning. David Seaman is grinning. They both know pain in this fixture.

They're not singing 'It's coming home' but they're pretty much the only ones inside this stadium who aren't.

    BEDLAM!

    Remember this moment, everyone.

England have beaten Germany for the first time in a knockout round of a major tournament since 1966.

    History made.

Pickford has had a wonderful tournament. When he as been called upon he has made every decision right. It is good when your keeper is on top form. It really helps.

For Jordan Pickford in an England shirt he's not let Gareth Southgate down once which is why he continually plays him. You don't win games like this under this pressure unless you have characters and leaders and players that turn up.

Jordan Pickford. He's been a giant today. He comes out to claim a ball forward to set Wembley into another huge cheer.

    It's a carnival atmosphere.

    One minute to go.

    This is a bit cruel.

Jamal Musiala is on for Germany, in place of Muller. Musiala played for England U21s last November before choosing Germany.

He now has to sample what we could have won.

Germany are throwing every thing at it now. Kai Havertz is well placed but he cannot connect with a ball across goal.

What an impact Jack Grealish has made.

Gareth Southgate has taken some pelters for his team selection and use of subs, but he got that one absolutely spot on.

We are into four added minutes.

That was absolutely electric. Again this left-hand side. Shaw, Grealish oh! Every time they go down this left hand side you think goal!

I am so happy that it was Harry Kane he couldn't miss, he couldn't miss, what a ball!

Talking of long runs and waiting for them to end, this man's been waiting a lifetime to stick that one in the back of the net. Luke Shaw really turned up this second half. Another good ball and Jack Grealish another assist. He wasn't going to miss that one Harry Kane. It hasn't been his best game, but he's waited and waited for that chance to come. And that feeling is one he's waited for for a long, long time.
