    Thanks, Harry.

Roman Yaremchuk pushes Harry Maguire in the back and he's awarded a free-kick.

Yaremchuk is fuming with Maguire because he thinks he's made a meal of it. Andriy Yarmolenko comes across to add his own thoughts.

    Ukraine 0-1 England

Raheem Sterling takes on Vitaliy Mykolenko and he thinks he's won a corner before the referee overturns the linesman's decision.

England need to do more of that. Sterling and Jadon Sancho have been a nuisance.

    Ukraine 0-1 England

More sloppiness from England. It's given away on the right and Oleksandr Karavaev plays a smart throughball but Kalvin Phillips mops up.

Jadon Sancho then turns on the flash with some excellent footwork and he's won England a free-kick over the halfway line.

They've got clever players around the box. Yarmolenko especially.

England are having to get back in numbers, it's a little bit frantic. England are not as organised as we've seen them in other games.

Ukraine are sensing a little bit of joy, a little bit of hope in the tie. Early on they didn't have this. England need to be braver and start dominating possession.

England have been the better side but Gareth Southgate will be asking for more.

The Armchair Football Fan: Yaremchuk been Ukraine's dangerman throughout the tournament, England need to be closer to him. Yarmolenko is good but he's rarely going to create for himself, lacks the pace and physicality.

  9. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    Ukraine 0-1 England

    It's getting nervy.

Andriy Yarmolenko lifts it over to Viktor Tsygankov in the box. His strike pops out for Mykola Shaparenko and he drags it wide of Jordan Pickford's left post.

The England keeper is screaming at his defence. "Wake up!"

The goalkeepers, Georgi Bushchan (8) and Jordan Pickford (7), have only had a combined 15 touches.

    One save each.

Ukraine sense Roman Yaremchuk is their main threat. They are getting the ball to him whenever they can now.

It's barely come down their right-hand side at all!

Luke Shaw is an integral player to this team now, so many of our opportunities are coming from that left position. Need to see more of that from the right to keep them guessing.

Raheem Sterling, lovely pass through to Luke Shaw.

Shaw's been a brilliant attacking asset in this game.

Luke Shaw's onside. Clearly onside. Lovely turn from Jadon Sancho. You can see what he is trying to do. My first thought was to roll it onto Harry Kane. He took responsibility himself.

    Pick him up!

England aren't coping with Roman Yaremchuk down that left-hand side. He's in behind again, gets to the byline and John Stones makes a desperate block to prevent the cut-back.

They get away with it on the corner as Declan Rice is fouled in the build-up.

  16. CLOSE!published at 39 mins

    Ukraine 0-1 England

Raheem Sterling slides in Luke Shaw, who looked offside but the replay shows he was on!

Play continues, he pulls it back and Jadon Sancho's shot is straight at the keeper.

Then the flag goes up. If Sancho had scored, VAR would surely have overturned that. What a chance!

Amanda Sim: So far the Ukrainian team are spending most of the match looking like a Subbuteo table! Their 5-3-2 formation is not gonna move!

Bob Taylor: If #ENG get another it could be a landslide.... Some of the movement on and off the ball is sublime...

Brilliant from Mason Mount. He isolated the threat straight away. He made a beeline for Andriy Yarmolenko straight away. That is spotting danger.

    This isn't great.

Oleksandr Zinchenko drives down the left and slides it through to Roman Yaremchuk, whose run isn't tracked.

He pulls it back dangerously in the box and Zinchenko is ready to hit it but Andriy Yarmolenko gets in front and nicks it off him.

He should have left it for Zinchenko and England, just about, get a block in. Sloppy!
