Amazing really how Jose hasn't been able to shore up the Spurs defence. But a tweet I saw earlier, saying only two of the XI which started the Champions League nine months ago started today's match, highlights how much of a rebuild Mourinho is facing.

Johnny: I was giving Aurier a hard time but that was some goal. Maybe he should be a midfielder or striker. He's poor in defence.

Matt: The problem with Spurs. They're so brittle in defence. For us to win this game you'd feel we'll have to score another because there's a very good chance we'll concede at least one more

A scrappy end to a great half sees Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti and the home crowd show their frustration with referee Chris Kavanagh, as the Italian punches the air.

He's obviously been learning a little from Duncan Ferguson. The sight of him dividing the players earlier on in the game was a sight to behold. I thought that was the Scot's role?

Get the popcorn... Roy Keane, watching at Goodison Park for Sky Sports, is about to give his verdict on David de Gea.

"You'd kill him!" shrieks Keane on what he would do if he was playing in United's midfield today.

"Arrogance", "madness" and "crazy" are also included Keane's lexicon.

It has been interesting watching Everton's tactics with Sigurdsson and Walcott, they are making a box front four with Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin, so whenever the ball goes forward the Manchester United back four really don't know how to address it, which gives Everton great options going forward.

That is a brilliant goal. An excellent team move, they work it left to right through midfield, they finally find Serge Aurier and I've been saying he needs to get forward a bit more! I didn't see that goal coming.

    There you go...

What was I just saying about everyone mucking in with goals? Serge Aurier must be telepathic.

The Spurs right-back cracks in his first goal of the season, cutting in from the right side of the Wolves box and bending into the far corner.

You need goals from all around a team and Spurs try to show that as a host of players have a pop. Eventually the best chance falls to Dele Alli, whose overhead kick is saved by Rui Patricio.

Better from Spurs. A goal before the break would be handy...
