Sloppy from Tottenham as they look to assert some authority. Passes wayward and not sharp enough at the moment.

Not sure what Luke Shaw has done to Tom Davies. Perhaps he told him he doesn't like his fashion.

The pair square up on the touchline and even Big Dunc has to step in like a Glaswegian bouncer.

Ah, Shaw was taken out by Davies' fashion partner in crime Dominic Calvert-Lewin with Davies stepping in for afters.

Shaw understandably didn't like it. Yellows dished out to DCL and Shaw.

Fernandes's goal was a strong strike with dip on it but bounces directly under his dive and he's just not read it. It's two goals and two mistakes.

Ah, Richarlison looks alright. The magic sponge does the trick again.

Uh oh. Another injury concern for Everton. Richarlison is down again and, with no disrespect to Seamus Coleman, replacing him would be a tougher task for the home side.

    Tottenham 1-1 Wolves

Not much to report from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Even steven, really. Davinson Sanchez pumps one long - probably out of frustration with a a lack of options in front of him - and the ball floats into Rui Patricio's hands.

The transformation of Manchester United with Bruno Fernandes in their midfield continues. The visitors have been on top since going behind, with the Portuguese rifling past Jordan Pickford, who perhaps should have done better.

Turning into a decent day for Sheffield United's Dean Henderson! England boss Gareth Southgate is in the crowd as the United fans sing"Bruno, Bruno, Bruno."

Richard Cohen: In news that's a shock to a grand total of zero Evertonians, Pickford at fault for yet another goal. Would love to sell him on, but don't think there's anyone left who would want to pay much.

Thomas Knights: Yet another high profile error from Pickford, the only way he starts for England this summer is blind loyalty from Southgate, on form he simply doesn't deserve it.

If Fernandes keeps playing like this it won't be long surely before a big club comes in for him.

The Everton defence doesn't cover itself in glory either, mind. They sloppily try to pass out from the back after a goal-kick with Djibril Sidibe giving the ball away to Nemanja Matic who plays in Bruno Fernandes.

Eric Dier doesn't clear it, Japhet Tanganga doesn't clear it, Matt Doherty gambles and it just falls lovely for him. A blow for Spurs, because they've started so well and all of a sudden they're back to square one.

    Bruno Fernandes

    De Gea 1 Pickford 1.

A tale of two keepers this one. Everton's Jordan Pickford doesn't make a howler quite as bad as United counterpart David de Gea - but he should save this,

Bruno Fernandes has a speculative shot from the edge of the box and beats Pickford at his near post.

Carlo Ancelotti's eyebrow raises, Gareth Southgate's face grimaces.

    Matt Doherty (27 mins)

Level. Not as easy as Everton's goal - but not fair off.

Diogo Jota sets off down the left flank after a neat one-two with Ruben Vinagre then drills into the Spurs box where Japhet Tanganga gets himself into a tangle.

Ball hits thigh and knee before Matt Doherty swoops to drill in. Wolves fans (and some Fantasy Football managers) rejoice.

Everton haven't made many attacking raids since that breezy start. Until now. A free-kick into the United box is cleared before Leighton Baines' low cross from the left can't be reached by Theo Walcott.

    Tottenham 1-0 Wolves

Wolves are enjoying spells of possession as they look to hit back at Spurs, but it is all around the midfield at the moment.

Adama Traore is the outlet ball and again he is picked out. He teases Ben Davies, draws him in and whips in a cross from the right. Spurs half clear but only as far as Diogo Jota who blasts over.

Tottenham's opener came after Serge Aurier's low cross and the wing-back has been getting into dangerous positions down Spurs' right - he's number 24 on the graphic below, and almost playing more like a winger at times.

  20. 'Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin are exposing them'published at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2020

    Everton 1-0 Man Utd

    Rob Green
Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof here are playing as a flat back two because the full backs are so wide, but when Everton get the ball Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are exposing them so badly with their pace. It's just one straight ball through the Manchester United defence and Everton are in.
