The penalty was so blatant VAR was not required - and RB Leipzig have they have fully merited.

It is a crucial away and Spurs simply haven't laid a glove on the German side so far.

Leipzig should probably be 2-0 up now. Angelino flies down the left and plays in a low cross, which Timo Werner lets run to Patrik Schick, whose first-time shot is saved by Hugo Lloris. But he should have given the Spurs keeper no chance.

It's a definite pen. He could not stop himself, Ben Davies. He cannot get out of the way and takes him out. Gets a yellow card as well. You have to say that is a quality penalty from Timo Werner. He takes his time, there are lots of delay tactics from Hugo Lloris but there was no way he was getting that. Leipzig deserve that lead.

Leipzig have a penalty. No doubt about it. Konrad Laimer controls Timo Werner's aerial pass on his chest and takes it past Ben Davies, who brings him down. Yellow card for Davies too.

Excellent by Leipzig. Lucas Moura controls the ball in the centre circle and three Leipzig players immediately chase him down and win the ball back.

Spurs have to look after the ball better but if you look at Leipzig they came out for the first half with such speed. They have not done that this time, they are backing off and I think they are tiring. Tottenham have just been given time and place.

As close as Spurs have been to a goal. Lucas Moura nips in front of his marker to poke Serge Aurier's cross towards goal but it's well saved.

A stop in play after about 10 seconds as Spurs players have to pick up lots of toilet paper from the pitch. It looks like Leipzig fans have thrown it on, possibly in a protest about ticket prices.
