    Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzig

Dele Alli looks angry/upset on the Spurs bench. He throws his boot off the ground and just looks stunned.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzig

Spurs make a double change. Erik Lamela and Tanguy Ndombele replace Dele Alli and Gedson Fernandes. Interesting.

    Atalanta 4-0 Valencia

I tipped Atalanta and Leipzig to do well at the start of the Champions League.

Hans Hateboer runs from the halfway line and gives Atalanta a 4-0 lead.

  4. Leipzig get their rewardpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The penalty was so blatant VAR was not required - and RB Leipzig have they have fully merited.

It is a crucial away and Spurs simply haven't laid a glove on the German side so far.

  5. Postpublished at 63 mins

    Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzig

Leipzig should probably be 2-0 up now. Angelino flies down the left and plays in a low cross, which Timo Werner lets run to Patrik Schick, whose first-time shot is saved by Hugo Lloris. But he should have given the Spurs keeper no chance.

JB: Fully deserved for RBL. Spurs have been woeful!

Willem Mevius: Watching Atalanta - Valencia. Entertaining, but not a lot of quality. Whoever plays the winner in the next round will fancy their chances.

  7. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzig

Can Spurs find a way back into this game? Leipzig certainly deserve to be ahead.

Giovani lo Celso gets the ball about 22 yards out and fires in a shot which is saved well by Peter Gulacsi.

  8. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzig

Timo Werner is the player to have scored the most Champions League goals without ever scoring one at home - seven.

  9. Postpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Atalanta 3-0 Valencia

Atalanta know how to score tasty goals. Remo Freuler curls a beauty home from the edge of the box.

  10. 'It's a quality penalty'published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzig

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a definite pen. He could not stop himself, Ben Davies. He cannot get out of the way and takes him out. Gets a yellow card as well. You have to say that is a quality penalty from Timo Werner. He takes his time, there are lots of delay tactics from Hugo Lloris but there was no way he was getting that. Leipzig deserve that lead.

  11. goal

GOAL - Spurs 0-1 RB Leipzigpublished at 58 mins

    Timo Werner

It's RB Leipzig's first ever Champions League knockout goal.

Timo Werner steps up and places it expertly in the bottom corner. Hugo Lloris went the right way but the kick powered past him.

  12. PENALTY TO LEIPZIGpublished at 56 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Leipzig have a penalty. No doubt about it. Konrad Laimer controls Timo Werner's aerial pass on his chest and takes it past Ben Davies, who brings him down. Yellow card for Davies too.

  13. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Excellent by Leipzig. Lucas Moura controls the ball in the centre circle and three Leipzig players immediately chase him down and win the ball back.

  14. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Corner to Leipzig now. That Spurs start to this half is looking like a little blip in this game than a change in pattern.

  15. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Christopher Nkunku steps up to take the free-kick but it's far too high. Never looked like dipping. Poor.

  16. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Leipzig back on the attack now and Serge Aurier pulls Patrik Schick before he can reach the box. Free-kick in shooting range.

  17. 'Leipzig are backing off now'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Spurs have to look after the ball better but if you look at Leipzig they came out for the first half with such speed. They have not done that this time, they are backing off and I think they are tiring. Tottenham have just been given time and place.

  18. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

As close as Spurs have been to a goal. Lucas Moura nips in front of his marker to poke Serge Aurier's cross towards goal but it's well saved.

  19. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

A stop in play after about 10 seconds as Spurs players have to pick up lots of toilet paper from the pitch. It looks like Leipzig fans have thrown it on, possibly in a protest about ticket prices.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

The second half - in both our games - is under way.
