  1. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Timo Werner's first chance of the game. Patrik Schick picks him out in space. He takes a couple of touches to steady himself but then hits a shot at Hugo Lloris' torso.

Maybe don't leave a Germany international in loads of room in the box. That'd be my advice.

  2. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

The last few minutes have been a bit better from Spurs. Serge Aurier's low cross is caught by the Leipzig keeper, but at least they're getting it into the box now.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 33 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Leipzig forward Timo Werner is booked for clipping Harry Winks. A tad harsh perhaps.

  4. Leipzig in controlpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Spurs have halted that early surge from RB Leipzig but the side lying second in the Bundesliga are still dominating possession.

Jose Mourinho's side look short of attacking threat, hardly a surprise as they are now stripped of Son Heung-min as well as Harry Kane.

  5. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Spurs have a corner now,won by good play by Steven Bergwijn. Giovani lo Celso's corner is over Dele Alli's head and Gedson Fernandes smashes a shot well over as it lands to him.

Why are people questioning Jose's tactics and how the game is panning out. This is Jose's plan. This is what he does.

    Tom, London

I saw Dele's name in the starting 11 but he doesn't appear to be on the pitch.

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Angelino has looked much better for Leipzig down the left than he did in any Manchester City game I saw before January. He wins a corner, which Spurs clear.

    Atalanta 1-0 Valencia

Valencia are close to an equaliser at the San Siro but Ferran Torres has struck the post.

Adam Kitchiner: Shambolic defending and organisation from Spurs. Where are Mourinho's supposed great defensive tactics?

Chris Arkwright: Never seen much of these Leipzig players, and only know 3 by there names. Think that will change in next few years some outstanding players that are going to really shine

  10. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

There's only so much you can blame Spurs' lack of a proper striker. They're barely getting past the halfway line.

  11. 'This is not Spurs' style of game'published at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leipzig look like they might be starting to tire a little. It's still good football, it's one touch football. This is not Tottenham's style of game. Players are having to help the defence and they are not used to that.

  12. Postpublished at 27 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Timo Werner has been playing out wide. The Leipzig striker drifts in this time and throws himself at Angelino's cross but the flag goes up.

  13. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

A welcome bit of relief for Spurs, I am about to write, as Dele Alli wins a free-kick from Lukas Klostermann. But before I even write that Leipzig have the ball back.

Hasan Anfield: RB Leipzig are a joy to watch.

Gonna be a long night if we are going to watch Leipzig pass ball around like this.

Paul Garnett: Struggling to work out what the game plan is from Tottenham at the moment.

Temi Kolarinwa: Jose needs to do something. It's all Leipzig. Throw an extra man in midfield but something to stop the wave of attacks.

  17. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Leipzig have had 10 shots in the opening 20 minutes. Remarkable start from the visitors.

  18. 'I thought they would be good in possession'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2020

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

What has surprised me is the way that Tottenham cannot keep control of the ball. With the players they have on the pitch, I thought they would be good in possession but at the moment they cannot put three passes together. They are getting run all over the place.

  19. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Spurs just had an attack, which felt like a landmark moment, but then Lucas Moura fouled his man so Leipzig have a free-kick.

  20. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Spurs 0-0 RB Leipzig

Another couple of Leipzig chances. Christopher Nkunku is given far too much time to stroll around Spurs' box. His shot is eventually blocked. The rebound lands to Angelino, whose shot is saved.
