What impressed me about Bayern Munich was their desire to get the ball back. There are no prima donnas in this side. If you were Liverpool you wouldn't want to face this side in this form.

    Chelsea 0-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are now second favourites to win the Champions League with the bookmakers after that win, according to Oddschecker.

They were 8-1 before kick-off and they're now as short as 7-2. Chelsea are 300-1...

    Manchester City are still favourites.

    Some stat from Gracenote...

Based on historic results, Chelsea's chance of reaching the next round is mathematically zero. That means that it has never been achieved in 213 attempts to recover from a 3-0 home defeat.

It’s one to forget for Frank Lampard. They were just out-classed. They defended resolutely first-half, but they struggled to get out and you felt it was coming. Bayern Munich were just in a different stratosphere.

Chelsea are not at the same level. It was a really harrowing night for Chelsea and Frank. They’ll have to regroup and hope they get the first goal in Munich. Can you see a way back for Chelsea? I don’t want to be too negative but absolutely not.

Clinical from start to finish. This Bayern side could easily brush aside anyone they face. What a prospect Davies is too!

Alphonso Davies is an incredible athlete but he is composed too. When he got free for the third goal, he took his time and laid a perfect ball across. He was phenomenal.

It was hard to pick a man of the match for Bayern because they were all so good.

Full-time in Naples. Barcelona have the edge with the away goal but it really wasn't very impressive.

Bayern look like the real deal. I know Chelsea have been inconsistent of late but in the second half Bayern went up a gear from a really strong first half. They were slick, they were competitive all over the park. We knew they had the quality up top but they solid at the back. They were ruthless. They have to be a team to watch in the competition. A humbling night for Chelsea.

Ball almost - but not quite - drops for Robert Lewandowski in the box. After the whistle goes for a foul Philippe Coutinho hits a shot off the bar - he knew it wouldn't have counted.

Chelsea have been well and truly schooled. How Mount and Barkley appear to be above Grealish and Maddison for England will be one of the great mysteries for our times.
