David Stewart: How are Oxford in League One? They'd give some mid-table Premier League teams a game.

Ivan: Remind me - which one is the Premier League team?

Now Allan Saint-Maximin wastes a big chance by taking a heavy touch in the box instead of setting himself up.

Winter break should be cancelled for these Newcastle players, terrible performance. Bruce got this completely wrong.

    Anthony

360 minutes to try and toil past Rochdale and Oxford is a joke, and tonight has been so predictably embarrassing. Late goals have papered over so many gaping cracks this season. Tactically awful.

Newcastle sub Allan Saint-Maximin is an excellent talent. He sends Sam Long one way and then the other and pokes a shot which Simon Eastwood is able to save.

Chris Lord: Did Newcastle stay in the changing rooms at half time? Not been in it at all since the referee blew the whistle to end the first half!

Beefy: What a comeback from Oxford in the second half, two cracking goals. This is what the FA Cup is all about.

Huge let-off for Oxford. Two of their players get in each other's ways and that lets DeAndre Yedlin go on a run. He should do better but loses the ball on the edge of the box to Elliott Moore.

    Liverpool 1-0 Shrewsbury

    Liverpool

Liverpool right back Neco Williams, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was just unbelievable. It was a night that we will remember for a long time, especially the debutants. The whole team dug in and we kept going to the final whistle.

"The crowd were excellent. This is a night lots of us will remember for a long time.

"As soon as the whistle goes at the start your mind is just focused on that game. The lads put everything out there tonight. It was a special night with a special team. I have known some of those lads out there since they were seven so to play at Anfield in front of that crowd, a special night.

"The lads were excellent and hopefully we will do the same against Chelsea in the next round. Every team Liverpool put out will put everything out there on the pitch.

"Our aim is to win the FA Cup. I think the lads will have been extremely proud of us and hopefully us young players will get a chance again."

I think Newcastle were trying to play a containing game, trying to keep the ball but that wonderful strike from Liam Kelly completely changed the match. It looked like a professional performance from Newcastle, just doing enough but they needed that third goal to really kill it and they couldn't get it.
