  1. Morelos dry spellpublished at 12:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Hamilton Academical v Rangers (12:31)

Alfredo Morelos is on his longest dry spell for Rangers in more than two years.

The Colombian striker has 28 goals this season, but has failed to net in his last four appearances since firing the only goal in the Boxing Day win over Kilmarnock.

He previously went five games without scoring in August-September 2018 - can he avoid equalling that run today?

Steven Gerrard understands the demands and pressure of being a Rangers manager. Supporters expect returns. Board expect returns. That means trophies. He's not going to disrespect the competition. He needs to play a settled team. Looking forward to seeing Hagi

I was pretty surprised when I looked at the Accies team. They're maybe looking ahead to the game on Tuesday night against Aberdeen. They're leaving out Templeton, Ogkmpoe and Miller, which is a real surprise

  6. Top-flight tusslespublished at 12:14 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

There are three all-Premiership meetings in the fifth round and they all take place this afternoon, with Hamilton v Rangers up first.

Aberdeen - without a goal in their last four games - then host a Kilmarnock side seeking a third straight win.

And Motherwell, Scottish Cup runners-up two years ago, visit top-flight strugglers St Mirren.

  7. 'Tough to contain Hagi hype' - Gerrardpublished at 12:12 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Hamilton Academical v Rangers (12:31)

New loan signing Ianis Hagi keeps his place in Rangers' midfield after his debut heroics on Wednesday night.

The Romania international marked his first start with the dramatic late winner against Hibernian, and manager Steven Gerrard accepts containing the hype around the 21-year-old will be difficult.

"He hasn't helped me there, has he?" Gerrard said. "It was a fantastic finish.

"I'm sure people are going to get carried away now because he's scored the winner on his first start. But he still will take time to adapt to all the different venues and teams we come against. He's certainly a talent."

  8. Sprott kick heropublished at 12:08 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Hamilton Academical v Rangers (12:31)

Hamilton stunned Rangers in Govan in November 2017, but you have to go way, way back to 1939 for their last home victory over the Ibrox team.

The sides' last Scottish Cup meeting in ended in a 6-0 tonking for Accies at Ibrox three years ago.

But Brian Rice's men will look to summon the spirit of Adrian Sprott today to inspire a shock.

Accis were bottom of the top flight when Sprott, a part-time policeman, scored the only goal of the game at Ibrox to knock out Rangers in January 1987 and write his name in Scottish Cup folklore.

  9. Rangers eyeing perfect 10published at 12:04 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Hamilton Academical v Rangers (12:31)

Rangers' form has faltered since they returned from the winter break, but their record against Hamilton is excellent.

In this season's two league meetings, Steven Gerrard's side have romped to 5-0 and 3-1 wins.

In all, they have won 10 of the last 11 head-to-heads and the Fountain of Youth Stadium has proved a happy hunting ground with Rangers having won each of their last nine visits.

  10. Kamara in for Rangers; Accies make six changespublished at 11:59 Greenwich Mean Time 8 February 2020

    Hamilton Academical v Rangers (12:31)

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is taking no chances as he sends out a strong line-up in Lanarkshire.

Midfielder Steve Davis drops to the bench, with Glen Kamara stepping up to the start, in the only alteration from the midweek win over Hibernian.

In contrast, Hamilton boss Brian Rice has changed more than half his team.

Out go Johnny Hunt, Shaun Want, Scott Martin, former Rangers midfielder David Templeton, Marios Ogkmpoe and Mickel Miller from Wednesday's 1-1 draw at St Mirren.

Drafted into the starting line-up are Jamie Hamilton, Will Collar, Lewis Smith, Steve Davies, Andy Dales and Andy Winter.
