    • Cheltenham were the night's big winners after Luke Varney's 85th-minute strike saw them come from behind to take all three points against Northampton. The Robins are now within three points of the automatic promotion places. Northampton, who could have moved above Cheltenham with a win, remain seventh.
    • Grimsby held-off a spirited Newport in the night's only other fixture, claiming a 4-2 win in an entertaining game. The victory sees Grimsby leapfrog their Welsh opponents into 14th, with Newport now 16th.

Bristol City miss the chance to put the pressure on entering the play-off places.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    West Brom 2-0 Preston

West Brom would surely be 3-0 up were it not for the split-second reactions of Preston keeper Declan Rudd.

Charlie Austin picks up the ball for the hosts inside the box and unleashes a powerful quickfire shot that forces Rudd into a fine save.

  11. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

They've done it! Luton pull off a colossal win and that's four wins from their past seven games.

  12. Postpublished at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    FT: Cardiff 0-1 Nottm Forest

Just before full-time it looks like there was an off-the-ball incident between Cardiff teammates Callum Paterson and Leandro Bacuna.

It's unclear at this stage what happened that inspired the angry coming together.

  13. Coventry push for late winnerpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Coventry 1-1 Rotherham

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

Nine minutes of injury time at St Andrew’s following that incident earlier involving Rotherham’s Daniel Barlaser.

Coventry looking the likeliest to snatch a winner.

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    QPR 2-1 Derby

Derby had been absolutely piling on the pressure during injury time and in the very final minute it's Martyn Waghorn again who misses the target by inches.

So close yet so far and QPR hang on to pick up all three points!

That win moves the Londoners above their East Midlands opponents and into the top half.

They're 10 points behind Preston in sixth and have 11 games to make up that deficit if they want to be in the play-off mix - a tall order yes, but we've seen stranger things in the Championship.

GOAL: Huddersfield 2-1 Bristol Citypublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Famara Diedhiou (88 mins)

Brentford are desperately hammering Luton as they look to get something out of this game in the dying moments.

  18. League Two latestpublished at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

Is that the winner for Cheltenham?!

Experienced forward Luke Varney slots home with only minutes remaining against Northampton. That will certainly keep the Robins above their opponents in the table this evening - if it stays that way.

Grimsby may finally have seen off Newport's challenge as they are now leading 4-2.

  19. Postpublished at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Huddersfield 2-0 Bristol City

Huddersfield are pushing to extend their lead, with this result potentially doing plenty for their confidence as they look to pull away from the Championship drop zone.

Lewis O'Brien plays Emile Smith Rowe into the box who sees his effort saved before O'Brien fires the rebound wide.

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson will be livid at his side's performance.

  20. Postpublished at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    QPR 2-1 Derby

QPR's Ilias Chair misses a chanceImage source, Rex Features

Two chances for the home side to seal it come and go.

Yoann Barbet heads over before Ben Hamer in the Derby goal prevents Ilias Chair grabbing his second.

Then it's Derby's turn to threaten as Martyn Waghorn sees his close-range effort saved and Wayne Rooney sends a free-kick off-target.

But.... there are FIVE minutes of injury time.
