    QPR 0-0 Derby

A let-off for the hosts as Martin Waghorn's strike rises over the bar and into the stand.

But they hit back with Yoann Barbet's effort from distance keeping Ben Hamer interested.

A goal incoming (we live in hope), but which way will it go?

  2. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Huddersfield 0-0 Bristol City

    An early substitution for Huddersfield.

How important will this come to be by full-time?

  3. Will one be enough for Millers?published at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Coventry 0-1 Rotherham

First blood to the Millers at St Andrew’s as Freddie Ladapo scrambles home the opening goal of the night from a corner.

It’s his 16th goal of the season.

Last time top played second in League One a month ago, when Rotherham played Ipswich, one goal was enough.

Will that be the case again at a very wintry St Andrew’s?

  4. League One latestpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

And on that... Rotherham take the lead!

Freddie Ladapo finishes from close-range to stun the Sky Blues.

A big goal at the top of League One! How will Coventry respond?

  5. Quality requiredpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Cardiff 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium

There have been no goals as yet on a bitterly cold night in the Welsh capital, but both sides have had their moments.

Forest have created the clearer opportunities, with Sammy Ameobi and Joe Lolley both giving Neil Harris' defence problems.

But Cardiff have proved time and again that they are a tough nut to crack on their ground, where they have lost only once in the Championship this season.

Forest will need to find some more quality in the final third if they are to emulate Bristol City, who won here in November.

  6. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Luton 1-0 Brentford

James Collins wins the ball back for Luton thanks to a break from the hosts and he tries to curl home from outside the box.

However his effort goes high over the crossbar. So far it's all Luton and the Kenilworth Road crowd have plenty to be optimistic about against a formidable Brentford side.

  7. League One and Two latestpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

Still goalless in Birmingham as League One's top two Coventry and Rotherham go head-to-head. Only separated by goal difference in the table, it's little surprise there is nothing between them.

Tranmere are now two goals to the good away at Shrewsbury, and Sunderland are still trailing at home to Fleetwood.

In League Two, Cheltenham Town have equalised at home to Northampton through their top-scorer Ryan Broom who coolly swept in his eighth of the campaign.

    Hal Robson-Kanu (6 mins)

He scored twice at the weekend and now he's got off the mark yet again for the Championship leaders.

West Brom forward Hal Robson-Kanu gets the first goal of this game to put the Baggies ahead after he chests down a Callum Robinson delivery before firing home from close range.

Not the start Preston will have wanted.

  9. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Huddersfield 0-0 Bristol City

Huddersfield are still testing Bristol City as they search for a vital three points.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant sends a dipping shot towards the visitors' goal which keeper Daniel Bentley manages to deal with.

    QPR 0-0 Derby

Eberechi Eze shoots for QPRImage source, Rex Features

Both sides have gone close in the opening stages, with Eberechi Eze passing up the hosts' best opening and Wayne Rooney's through ball to Tom Lawrence almost forcing an own goal at the other end.

Three points here would really give a boost to any lingering play-off hopes with both teams currently stuck firmly in mid-table.

    Cardiff 0-0 Nottm Forest

Cardiff v Nottm ForestImage source, Rex Features

Cardiff are peppering the Nottingham Forest goal with chance after chance of late.

Callum Paterson nods Will Vaulks' delivery goalbound and forces Forest keeper Brice Samba into a fine save.

Meanwhile, Josh Murphy follows up soon after with a drilled effort that sails wide from long range.

  12. Postpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Luton 1-0 Brentford

What have Brentford got in response to going a goal down against Luton?

Well Said Benrahma sends a quickfire shot towards goal for the Bees which Hatters keeper Simon Sluga reacts well to and tips over the bar.

Good stuff from both sides, this.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    West Brom 0-0 Preston

And in tonight's later kick-off, we are under way at The Hawthorns.

Can leaders West Brom bolster their lead at the Championship summit or will Preston continue their fine away form?

  14. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Cardiff 0-0 Nottm Forest

Cardiff pose a threat for the first time as Joe Bennett stands over a free-kick from 25 yards out.

He curls it just over the crossbar. That was close.

  15. League One & Two latestpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

Plenty of early goalmouth action around the grounds tonight with Sunderland going behind early at home to Fleetwood. Barrie McKay the man on the scoresheet at the Stadium of Light.

Elsewhere, Andy Cannon has put Portsmouth ahead at home to MK Dons, Shrewsbury are trailing at home to Tranmere and James Henry has put Oxford United ahead against Accrington.

In League Two, Grimsby have been pegged back by Newport's Jordan Green after taking an early lead through Bradley Garmston.

Shandon Baptiste own goal (9 mins)

    Well well well.

Luton take the lead against promotion-chasing Brentford and they've done so in bizarre fashion!

A Hatters free-kick, taken by Luke Berry from closer to the halfway line than the goalline, bobbles into the box and Shandon Baptiste puts the ball into his own net.

  17. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Luton 0-0 Brentford

Last time these two teams met, Brentford won 7-0.

They've started brightly against Luton and win a free-kick after Ollie Watkins is brought down outside the box.

Said Benrahma stands over it but fires straight into the wall.

  18. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Huddersfield 0-0 Bristol City

Huddersfield could do with a win and they've come close to the mark early on in this game.

Emile Smith-Rowe works onto a ball from Lewis O'Brien and tries his luck with a left-footed drive from outside the box but it sails just wide of the post.

  19. League Two latestpublished at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

    Cheltenham 0-1 Northampton

Northampton have taken an early lead with Ryan Watson the goalscorer.

That goal takes Northampton above Cheltenham as it stands.

Not the start the home side would have wanted, but on the plus side, they have plenty of time to get back into it.

  20. Winter warmer at St Andrew's?published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February 2020

Let’s face it, as football grounds go, St Andrew’s isn’t the best looking of places, especially in mid-winter.

Tonight, with snow outside lining the streets of Small Heath thanks to a heavy pre-match sleet shower, it somehow appears a more unwelcoming place than ever.

But inside the ground it’s second v first in League One - St Andrew’s tenants Coventry City taking on Rotherham United. There are supportive chants coming from the half of the ground that is being used.

And, although the snow is falling again, could we be in for a classic to warm everyone up?
