I've lost count of the number of times Forest's Joe Lolley has given the ball away since the break.

He's taking chances, trying to be creative and trying to find clever through balls, but very few of them are actually paying off.

The hosts work hard on the edge of the box to try and create room for a shot but eventually Lewis Wing fires over the bar, under pressure from Tobias Figueiredo.

Joe Lolley drives towards the Middlesbrough goal, through the middle, and has options to both his left and right... But he goes for goal alone and swerves a shot high and wide of the target.

The visitors have had just 38% of the possession, which you wouldn't necessarily expect from a side sitting fourth in the table, away to a relegation contender.

As it stands, this scoreline would lift Middlesbrough out of the relegation zone and above three sides, up in to 19th.

The next half an hour or so could be crucial to both these teams' campaigns.

Boro break quickly from a Forest corner and Rudy Gestede should go for goal himself but instead he decides to aim his far-post header backwards to lay it off for a team-mate, which doesn't work out and Forest can clear the danger.

The home fans are asking why Gestede didn't try and score himself.

BBC Radio Manchester reports that Macclesfield Town have failed to pay salaries on time for the fourth time this season.

February wages were scheduled to be paid on Friday but it is understood they have still not been received.

The latest delay comes in addition to September, October and November wages being paid late by the Silkmen.

The club, who are 23rd in League Two and eight points above the relegation zone, have been contacted for comment.
