Manchester United's teenage striker Lauren James has been sidelined for an unspecified length of time with what the club described as a foot injury on Friday.

The youngster has been in good form for the Red Devils - who were semi-finalists in this cup, losing to Chelsea in the last four.

Today's winners will receive £6,500 in prize money - a sum former Chelsea striker Eniola Aluko has described as 'embarrassing'.

Commentating on tonight's final on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra, she said: "This is an area of women’s football that we need to improve.

"If we want to develop an elite product, the likes of the FA need to make sure the money is commensurate to the levels we are playing at because some of the figures are embarrassing."

Big news elsewhere this week - Germany's Pauline Bremer is to leave Manchester City at the end of the season to join Wolfsburg.

Bremer has scored 22 goals in 23 games in all competitions this season for the Citizens.

I think Emma Hayes will be happy with the way Chelsea have performed tactically. No surprise with Beth England scoring, she just comes alive around the box.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have been a bit too pretty. Vivianne Miedema had not really got into the game but, Caitlin Foord, wow, she has shown she is ready to play in English football and she has been Arsenal’s best player.

It's not gone Joe Montemurro's side's way so far.

There'll be one minute of added time before the break.

And now Arsenal defender Louise Quinn makes a good block to deny Beth England from inside the area, after a square ball from Sam Kerr.

Chelsea are having a good spell as the half nears its end. Sam Kerr sees a header blocked at the far post and then, on the rebound from just outside the box, Wales' Sophie Ingle drills a low effort wide.

Sam Kerr, surrounded by defenders, somehow gets a shot away inside the area but it's blocked by Arsenal keeper Manuela Zinsberger.

Moments later, at the other end, Kerr's compatriot Caitlin Foord hits the side-netting for the Gunners.

The first 20 minutes were played at a fairly relentless pace. It was almost end to end. Perhaps inevitably, things have slowed down a fraction since then.

A couple of times, with the ball out wide, the final ball has just been lacking from Arsenal, after excellent build-up play.

It's been a fast-paced first half an hour and the crowd are really enjoying themselves, especially those in Blue.

A good cross from Scotland's Erin Cuthbert picks out Chelsea's Beth England in the middle but it's a fraction behind her and she glances her header wide.

Arsenal's intricate play in midfield has been great to watch.

Chelsea, by contrast, have been more direct.

The Netherlands's Jill Roord has Arsenal's latest half-chance but drags a low shot wide from outside the box.

Chelsea were 4-1 winners away at Arsenal when these sides met last month in the league.

There could be plenty of goals in this one too, but it looks a lot less one-sided so far.

Vivianne Miedema forces another good save from Chelsea stopper Ann-Katrin Berger, this time marauding down the left before angling a shot towards the top corner across the face of goal, which Berger tips behind.

Now Chelsea are back on the attack but, after good work down the right from Erin Cuthbert, Beth England and Sam Kerr both jump for the same cross and slightly get in each other's way, so the ball drops wide.

This is lively. It's been a terrific start.
