It is clear that Pep is obsessed with glory, by playing only his best players week in, week out. The City academy is very patient indeed. If he loses tonight he still has to play teams in Europe who are much more wholesome than a deteriorating Madrid side. He's a gambler to say the least!

Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City (19:45 GMT)
Not many in tonight, that's for sure.

Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
If you give Troy Parrott 15 or 20 minutes every now and again you would certainly see the best of him and the fans might just give Jose Mourinho that bit more backing.

Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on BBC One
I am running out of superlatives for David Silva. He is just incredible. He is such a humble person, you see superstars going around saying 'look at me' but he's nothing like that. He's the best player in training, the best player on the pitch, he'll go down as a legend.
Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City (19:45 GMT)

It's a cold, crisp and still night in South Yorkshire. How many players will be wearing gloves?
All the pre-match noise is coming from where Manchester City's travelling fans are sat while there are still thousands of empty seats in the home sections as we near kick-off.
Will Wednesday spring a major surprise?

Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
Any team would suffer without Harry Kane and Son Hung-min. Wonderful players with great goalscoring records, but you ask the Spurs supporters if they would be content not to win a trophy this season when they have the opportunity to get to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with the attacking flair they have still got in the side. It should still certainly be enough.
Tottenham v Norwich (19:45 GMT)
Light show time at Spurs. A big might for Jose's men.
Or will Norwich upset the odds?
Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City (19:45 GMT)
Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle and England striker on BBC One
It is a big ask for Sheffield Wednesday. They've got to take inspiration from what Wigan did two years ago. No-one expected Wigan to win that night. Manchster City have gone strong again but Sheffield Wednesday might be able to play with some freedom, but it's going to be a difficult evening.

Stephen Kelly
Former Reading and Fulham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live
I was baffled that Manchester City did not go out and strengthen at centre-back, given they knew that Vincent Kompany was leaving. I always felt that was a position they needed to add to. You never know, financial fair play could have been overshadowing everything.
Tottenham v Norwich (19:45 GMT)
Jonathan Walters
Former Republic of Ireland international on BBC Red Button
I think Spurs are at a real crossroads. I think the next 10-14 days are crucial. It is a pivotal moment, they need a performance for me tonight.

Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
You would expect a club of Manchester City's ilk to be up there competing in competitions like the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, as they have done for the past few seasons, but considering what has happened in the Premier League, their results in the Champions League will be how their season is judged.
It would be an amazing recovery for the club, should they go on to win the three cup competitions.
Troy Parrott is on the bench tonight. Like some Spurs fans I don't really know what he looks like so be good to see him get on...
Tottenham v Norwich (19:45 GMT)
Jonathan Walters
Former Republic of Ireland international on BBC Red Button
I think Jose Mourinho is going to be a bit stubborn with Troy Parrott. He's a prolific youth team scorer, he's very well thought of. He's got a bright future. For me it's a great game to throw him into.
Leicester v Birmingham (19:45 GMT)
