Pep Guardiola is doing his usual trick of sitting in the dugout to watch the warm-ups - he did an excellent old school ruffling of a kid's hair earlier on when signing autographs.

It looks cold at Hillsborough this evening.

  3. 'I'd like to have rotated more'published at 19:03 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2020

    Leicester v Birmingham (19:45 GMT)

Birmingham boss Pep Clotet to BBC Sport: "We know that we need to be ourselves and put them under a lot of stress. The odds are not on our side but we have a lot of confidence in the way we’re performing. It's a good test against one of the best teams in the country.

"We have a thin squad. I’d like to have rotated a bit more - this is our fourth game in 10 days. I have plenty of trust in the players.

"[A win] would be massive. The fans know how difficult this game is. They’ll be the 12th man we need."

  5. 'Pressure is all on City'published at 19:02 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2020

Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City (19:45 GMT)

Wednesday boss Garry Monk: "We've had a couple of days to build up and we've earned the right to have this tie. These are the type of nights you live for, to test yourself against the very best.

"We are here on merit and we have to represent ourselves properly. You never know in cup ties.

"It's a great opportunity for us, the pressure is all on Manchester City."

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho tells BBC Sport: "The goalkeeper is an opportunity for Michel Vorm to play, he has been working hard and an important guy in the group. Ben Davies was injured for three months and played consecutive games after coming back and is now feeling it so we needed to give him a little rest with Oliver Skipp coming in, who is a kid born and made at the club and who has worked so hard for an opportunity.

"The games were very close. We were unlucky not to win the first game but they gave us a lot of problems. They are not a team to be in the position, they are much better than that. They come with the same dream as the rest of the people. Incredibly, I heard they will bring 9,000 fans so they will not come here to sleep, they come here to support the team. We are waiting for a big FA Cup night.

"We lost the last matches and I think we deserve better than that, especially against Wolves - the defeat was quite unfair. We have an opportunity to go to the quarter-finals."

Sheffield Wednesday have won one of their last nine Championship games and such is their form that the visit of the reigning Premier League champions and FA Cup holders is not a sell-out.

While City will be backed by around 5,000 travelling fans, one Wednesday fan I have spoken suggested there could be fewer than 15,000 home supporters present.

With a capacity of around 40,000, Hillsborough could be half empty.

Garry Monk's side are in need of a lift after a torrid time. It will require something extraordinary if they are to stop City from progressing.

Norwich make four changes to the side that beat Leicester last time out.

Norwich XI: Krul, Aarons, Hanley, Godfrey, Lewis, Vrancic, Trybull, Buendia, Rupp, Cantwell, Drmic.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola: "We have won the last six domestic trophies, every game we play we try to win. We have come from two incredible stages to here, in the Championship. It is a big week.

"We have the right mentality. That is going to happen. The opponent have their skills, they are good on set-pieces and good in the middle with Barry Bannan but we will try and attack their weak points.

"We have made changes, it is a tough period with high energy spent in Madrid and in the final. In four days we have Old Trafford."

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers: "The game's about confidence and when you lose some games, the confidence can be dented. That's the management of it. We have to pick players up whose confidence may have dropped.

"We have to learn from that and that is the mentality you need to play in the position of the table you want to be in.

"This is the great challenge that we have now going into this last part of the season."

At the age of 16, Jude Bellingham is still too young to sign a professional contract with his club Birmingham City, while safeguarding regulations mean he has to have his own room for overnight stays before Championship games.

Yet the highly talented midfielder, who does not turn 17 until June, is living the dream after rewriting his boyhood club's history books.

Since becoming Blues' youngest player last August, Bellingham has scored four times in the Championship, been linked with a host of clubs home and abroad - including a £50m deal to Chelsea , external- and even had a baby named after him.

German newspaper Bild reported Borussia Dortmund had agreed a £30.4m deal to sign the teenager , externalin what would be a record transfer for the Bundesliga club.
