  1. Make or break for Kilmarnockpublished at 18:03

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at Rugby Park

Kilmarnock are building more and more pressure as they try and force and equaliser. To be fair to Hibernian, they are repelling their advances but Alex Dyer’s side are working tremendously hard to keep the opposition hemmed in.

The more Killie push though the more you can see Jack Ross’ side nabbing a sucker punch with the ability they have to pick the right pass and exploit space with pace.

It’s such a big finale for both teams. Chris Burke has put in so many quality deliveries that you’d expect one to be seized on but so far they just can’t produce that final moment of impact as they did in the first half.

Kilmarnock are losing but you have to commend them for their attitude. One thing Alex Dyer is getting from his team is 100% effort. They are totally committed and that's always pleasing if you're a manager

  4. 'Hibs have got a foothold now'published at 17:57

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

    Jim Duffy
    BBC Sportsound summariser

    Quote Message

Hibs have got a foothold in the game now. It took them about 10-15 minutes in the second half to get in control, but the last five minutes they have definitely been in control. Kilmarnock are still a threat but if Hibs get Allan on the ball, he just keeps possession

  5. Allan's quality shines throughpublished at 17:55

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

    Quote Message

That's the quality of Scott Allan. He already knows where Martin Boyle is. It's an exquisite pass. I think Boyle takes his eye off it for a second and it allows the keeper to close it down

  7. Boyle spurns great chancepublished at 61 mins

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

Scott Allan threads a beautiful ball through the Kilmarnock defence and into the path of Martin Boyle. With Jan Koprivec racing from his line, Boyle appears to be in two minds as to whether clip an effort over the keeper or round him.

The chance is lost and Kilmarnock earn a reprieve.

  8. Brophy threatenspublished at 60 mins

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

Eamonn Brophy, attempting to emulate his midweek scoring heroics, spins on the edge of the area before firing a shot at goal.

But it's straight down the throat of Ofir Marciano and the Hibs keeper gathers.

  9. 'Kabamba needs to be more central'published at 17:46

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

    Quote Message

Nicke Kabamba for me has got to be a bit more central at times. All the work he is doing is outside the box. He's got to get himself in between the sticks more often

  10. Here come Hibernian...published at 55 mins

    Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

Martin Boyle scampers into Kilmarnock territory and sees his cross cleared for a corner. From the subsequent set piece, Greg Docherty volleys an effort wide of goal.

  15. Killie pay the price for giving away cheap free kickpublished at 17:20

    HT: Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernian

    Jim Duffy
    BBC Sportsound summariser

    Quote Message

That's what happens when you give away cheap free kicks. It wasn't a great ball into the box but Marc McNulty just gets a little graze on it, it hits a Kilmarnock defender and falls kindly for Adam Jackson. Do Hibs deserve it? I'm not sure, but nevertheless they look like they are going to go into half time with a 2-1 lead

  16. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 1-2 Hibernianpublished at 17:18

Breathless stuff at a windswept Rugby Park. Greg Docherty fired the visitors in front with a contender for goal of the month... or season. Kilmarnock responded immediately, equalising through Chris Burke's bullet header.

But Hibernian hold a half-time lead, courtesy of Adam Jackson's deflected strike.

We do have another goal before the break and it's for the visitors. Adam Jackson displays Ninja-like reflexes to send a deflected effort looping over Jan Koprivec.

    What a game!

  18. In-form sides on front footpublished at 40 mins

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Hibernian

Five minutes before the break, both sides are pushing forward in search of another goal. Hibs keeper Ofir Marciano gallops from his line to gather a Kilmarnock cross after a bit of juggling that wouldn't look out of place at the Edinburgh Fringe.

  20. Who wins this one?published at 36 mins

    Kilmarnock 1-1 Hibernian

Both sides are trading attacks and counter-attacks in a wide open game at Rugby Park. With nine minutes remaining until the break, you wouldn't bet against another goal.
