Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has lost seven of his nine away Champions League games in Germany (W2), losing more away games there than any other country.

Indeed, those seven defeats account for 30% of his away defeats in the Champions League (7/23).

Tonight gets tougher the more you look.

Looks good empty, which is going some.

Derby County midfielder Tom Huddlestone on BBC Radio 5 Live: "I don’t think you can point the finger at one individual player at Tottenham. Five or six of their starting XI players are out injured, and Mourinho’s style of play and management is completely different from what they were used to under Pochettino.

"This is a transition period for them and they are trying to stick to these new methods."

Only a decade ago Leipzig were making their debut in the fifth tier of German football - tonight they are on the brink of the Champions League quarters.

It has taken more than Red Bull throwing money at the project for the east German club to establish themselves among the country's elite.

Julian Nagelsmann's side for the 1-0 win over Tottenham in the first leg was thin on household names and contain no player acquired for more than £20m.

So how did Red Bull turn a club playing regional football into genuine Bundesliga title contenders, what is in it for one of the world's most well-renowned companies and are Leipzig really the most hated club in Germany?

    Find out here.

Timo Werner has 27 goals in 35 club games this season.

The striker has long been linked with a move to the Premier League so maybe he'll be over soon enough.

His goal separates the sides as we stand.

Paul F from London: Rules are clear. If fixtures cannot be completed the season is void. Makes no difference who is placed where. This is basic stuff guys.

Tim from Stevenage: What about (and bear with me on this) - all European football temporarily suspended and this season finished in the Autumn. Then run calendar year seasons (Feb-Nov) up to the World Cup 2022 thus eliminating the need to phase in a mid-season break. Then it can slowly return to normal post 2022.

Half an hour until kick-off then in tonight's games. Are any Spurs fans holding out much hope?

Interestingly Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann picked up a booking earlier in the tournament so he is showing on the team sheet as being one yellow card away from suspension.

Derby County midfielder Tom Huddlestone on BBC Radio 5 Live: "It’s far from a classic Mourinho team but tonight is written to be a classic Mourinho result.

"That means sitting tight for 65-70 minutes and then trying to nick a goal or two at the end."

Chris Painter: Calling the season void would void every promotion/relegation battle all the way down the leagues. Current standings harsh on teams relying on future games to dig them out of a hole eg. Bournemouth vs Palace/Newcastle. It has to be play-offs

Jamie Hubbard: as a Stevenage fan (adrift at the bottom of league 2) I’d go for the ‘void season‘ option. Aside from praying for another Macclesfield points deduction, it could be our only hope of staying up!

  19. Team newspublished at 19:18 Greenwich Mean Time 10 March 2020

Former Tottenham and Sevilla striker Freddie Kanoute: "Jose Mourinho has been a top manager and his record speaks for itself but the past few games from Tottenham have lacked passion.

"You saw Tottenham lose to Norwich [in the FA Cup] and it was like they were waiting for something to happen. Most of the time it is too late. I am not a big fan of the way their game plan goes right now."
