Joao Felix's influence hasn't been noticed until recently. In their game against Sevilla he was the best player on the pitch. Give him the ball, and he'll find you a way that others wouldn't be able to.

Matt: Diego Costa will either get booked, get a defender booked or score.

Dean: Lets hope Liverpool are ready to fight Atletico's 90 mins of gamesmanship. Expect a few Costa fights and rolls in the game! Hope the referee is ready for it.

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Diego Costa was a thorn in Liverpool's side during his time at Chelsea - in fact he was a thorn in most people's side.

And Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is calling on his "cause a fight in an empty room" approach in this last 16 second leg tie.

Costa is not fully fit after injury problems but the striker's inclusion is an insight into Atletico's mindset and also what type of game they will be expecting here at Anfield tonight.

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has conceded just 37 goals in his first 49 Champions League appearances; the record for fewest goals conceded by a goalkeeper in his first 50 appearances is held by Dida (35), followed by Victor Valdes (38).

A goal every two games used to be the gauge of a very good striker. Not two goals a game.

    Paris St-Germain v Borussia Dortmund (20:00 GMT, Agg 1-2)

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is one of only five players to score 10+ goals in their debut campaign in the European Cup/Champions League – the only player to score more than 10 was Claudio Sulser, who scored 11 goals in six appearances in his first European Cup season in 1978-79 for Grasshopper Club Zurich.

Haaland is averaging a goal every 46 minutes in the Champions League (10 goals in 464 minutes for RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund), the best ratio in the competition’s history of any player to play at least 250 minutes.

Dropping Fabinho is a bit of a shock but Oxlade-Chamberlain should be able to create more opportunities.

But - are Liverpool underestimating Atletico Madrid's ability to counter attack by leaving Henderson on his own?

Last year's Champions League winners Liverpool might be running away with the league, but their 1-0 loss at Atletico Madrid three weeks ago leaves them perilously close to going out.

In fact the experts say it's a 51-49% chance of going through, in Liverpool's favour...

"As Liverpool have a tough task on their hands to reach this season's Champions League quarter-finals, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona are the three big favourites to reach the final," says Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis at Gracenote.

"Should Liverpool knock out Atletico, the Reds will again be one of the big favourites to reach the final and win the tournament as they are the Euro Club Index's number-one ranked team."

Liverpool have struggled to break teams down. It needs to be a low-scoring game for Atletico to go through.

Atletico's hope again is to score early, but if it is about defending they are happy to do it, not scared at all.
