Hang on they're checking for a handball - no penalty given. That would have been extremely harsh.

What a ball, TAA fizzes one from left to right this time with the outside of his foot and it ends up winning a corner. The set-piece ricochets around the area and it's cleared.
Paris St-Germain 0-0 Borussia Dortmund (Agg 1-2)
Jadon Sancho has Dortmund's best moment so far but he tries an ambitious, across-the-body volley from inside the D and shanks it well wide of goal.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)

Liverpool are really beginning to dial it up now. They're getting dangerous balls into the box and you feel that one of those balls will fall to a red shirt eventually. Liverpool are dominating so far.
However, too often they are crossing in that ball from too far wide. Yes it will work sometimes, but now and again you have to ask a different question.

Mike: Does make me chuckle, Liverpool fans all accusing Atletico of gamesmanship.
David: Really torn tonight. I live in Spain and my wife and father-in-law are ardent Atleti supporters, as am I. But as a Scot I have always rooted for Liverpool. Watching now on Spanish TV. The best team will win!
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Chance! Atleti scored from a corner in the first leg and they're close again, Felipe flicking his header wide at the near post.
Liverpool look unusually dodgy from dead balls...
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Virgil van Dijk is the last man for Liverpool and he's getting on the ball about 40 yards from goal. Talk about compressed.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Top keeper isn't he, jan Oblak? Down well in the wind and rain to beat out a low shot from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, it came at the end of a wave up on wave of Liverpool pressure.
Most teams would crumble under this sort of exam, but this is a training session for Atleti. May 4-4-2 never die.
Paris St-Germain 0-0 Borussia Dortmund (Agg 1-2)
Neymar was fine, by the way. A 1-0 win would do it for PSG tonight and they've had most of the early ball.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
The rain is fizzing in now, almost at right angles to the floor, into faces and biting into cheeks. Jordan Henderson tries a volley through the storm but slices it well, well wide.

John: Tough game for Liverpool, must be careful, expect somebody to be sent off, probably a Liverpool player.
Richard: Atletico Madrid antics already in full swing and the referee falling as much as their players.

Liverpool are doing exactly what they should be doing - they're playing at the highest tempo. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are flying forward at every opportunity and putting the afterburners on, giving them the chance to put the ball in the box.

Diego Simeone as animated as ever already in the technical area. He doesn't look happy about something - although admittedly this is more or less his permanent state during a game.
What a coach, though, and what a towering figure in Atletico Madrid's history.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Jinking run from left to right from Sadio Mane and he then finds Mo Salah, draws back the left foot and bends a shot over the top. Promising.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Real zip and bite from the hosts so far as you'd expect. Anfield goes up a notch as Mo Salah gets on the ball for the first real time in space but he overruns it.
Paris St-Germain 0-0 Borussia Dortmund (Agg 1-2)
Inbetween sisters' birthday parties tonight, Neymar is playing and he's down again, looked like a perfectly sound tackle to me at full speed but the Brazilian went down in instalments and has hurt his shoulder with the fall.
He'll need some treatment.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Trent making hay down the Liverpool right once again, bustling on at pace past Renan Lodi but this time he can't feed a cross in.
Paris St-Germain 0-0 Borussia Dortmund (Agg 1-2)
Must be something of an optical illusion as the Parc des Princes looks absolutely massive with nobody in it.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)
Liverpool in need of a comeback, Gini Wijnaldum header. Ring any bells?
Atletico need to get closer than that to Trent Alexander-Arnold as he's able to pick out a nice cross. the Dutchman flicks his header on goal but it's easy for Jan Oblak.
That's more shots on target then they managed in Madrid.
Liverpool 0-0 Atletico Madrid (Agg 0-1)

Diego Costa got past Liverpool's back four so easily - if it was a faster player that could've been more dangerous. Liverpool must do much better than that, they can't make mistakes like that.
