What a triple header of live football that's been. On Tuesday, there was Motherwell's thrilling comeback from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 with St Mirren only to go out of the Scottish Cup on penalties, last night Aberdeen scored twice in the closing seconds of their replay to beat Kilmarnock after extra-time, now Rangers have provided a memorable comeback from two behind to stun Braga in the Europa League.

Not to mention Celtic's thrilling 1-1 draw away to Copenhagen - dominating the first half then hanging on in the second.

Both Glasgow sides will now fancy their chances of reaching the last 16 after next week's second legs, but next up for us we have two big games tomorrow evening.

St Mirren, third bottom of the Premiership, are at home to bottom side Hearts, who are just three points behind. That's live on BBC Radio Scotland.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard praised scorers Joe Aribo and Ianis Hagi as he explained why he replaced injured left-back Borna Barisic with midfielder Joe Aribo instead of Andy Halliday.

"We could have gone like-for-like with Andy Halliday, but we decided to twist a bit with Joe Aribo," he tells BT Sport. "He can play anywhere on the pitch, he's going to be a hell of a player.

"He epitomised everything that we were about - he was positive from left-back, got us an incredible goal. Hagi - his dad was here tonight - I'm sure he'll be very proud of that performance."

The booking that rules Alfredo Morelos out of the second leg was the one downside.

"Very disappointing," Gerrard admits. "He's our top scorer, an important player for us, but it gives someone else an opportunity. We're a team, it's not about one player and I think we showed that tonight."

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is satisfied with Rangers' second-half performance - and win over a Braga side who had not lost in 10 games.

"Fantastic night obviously, very pleased for the supporters," he tells BT Sport. "I think we've rediscovered ourselves, certainly from the second-half performance. We were disappointed with a few things at half-time.

"We've beat a good team. We showed unbelievable character, we ran hard for each other, we were more compact, more organised, we had a better shape and we were on the front-foot more in the second half."

Czech Republic, who have no teams left in either competition, have dropped behind Scotland, who have also moved above Cyprus.

Rangers' double goalscorer Ianis Hagi couldn't hide his delight after the win over Braga.

"It's amazing, Ibrox baby, it's just different," he tells BT Sport.

Asked if it was the best moment of the career, the on-loan Genk midfielder replied: "I guess. I had really good moments before, but scoring a brace in a European competition is amazing, it's just a dream come true."
