Great chance for an equaliser for Copenhagen as Bryan Oviedo picks the ball up wide on Celtic's right, but the former Everton and Sunderland wide man's curling drive from the edge of the penalty box is a couple of yards wide.

  2. Postpublished at 27mins

    Copenhagen 0-1 Celtic

Both Christopher Jullien and Dame N'Doye are back on the park, but the Celtic defender is sporting a rather unflattering lump of cotton wool up his nose following that clash of heads.

    Copenhagen 0-0 Celtic

Odsonne Edouard is in possession again inside the home penalty box. This time he is thwarted by Copenhagen captain Zeca as the Celtic fans scream for a penalty.

At the very least that was a clumsy challenge by the Greece midfielder.

It's been a hat-trick of chances for Edouard, but this time he learned. He knew the goalkeeper was going to come out quickly, he knew he was going to ground and it's a lovely little dink into the far corner

GOAL Copenhagen 0-1 Celticpublished at 13mins

    Odsonne Edouard

It's third time lucky for Odsonne Edouard.

Ryan Christie finds James Forrest at the edge of the penalty box, the winger's quick flick finds the French striker and he flicks neatly over advancing Karl-Johan Johnsson as the goalkeeper went to ground.

That's Celtic's first away goal in the knock-out stage of European competition since 2003.

I hope that doesn't affect Edouard's confidence. Two big moments right at the start of this game. One-on-one with the goalkeeper and the keeper comes out on top. But he got in so easily again

    Copenhagen 0-0 Celtic

Copenhagen race up the other end and striker Dame N'Doye is through on goal only to be thwarted by a fine Kristoffer Ajer tackle before Celtic clear the danger as the ball bounces dangerously inside the area.

Somehow it is still 0-0 despite that thrilling start at both ends.

What an opening! It's a huge moment for Edouard. The goalkeeper made it really difficult on a tight angle for Edouard to beat him. It's a big moment at the start of this game

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 25secs

So close to a whirlwind start for Celtic.

Ryan Christie plays the ball cleverly behind the Copenhagen defence for Odsonne Edouard.

The striker's shot is blocked well by goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson and Victor Nelsson bravely blocks the Frenchman's attempt on the rebound.

No goal but a promising start for the visitors.

The form that Celtic have shown domestically and in Europe this season shows they are a force to be reckoned with. You look at Lazio. Celtic beat them home and away and they are challenging for Serie A. It wasn't a smash and grab. They were the best team in their group by a mile

Ryan Christie has found it difficult to get back in due of the form of Olivier Ntcham, but it's good to see him back in. He does well no matter where he plays because of his attitude, his willingness to press and track back - and his goals
