The Romanian midfielder on loan from Genk collects a ball from Steven Davis into the penalty box, turns inside a defender and rifles it in off the side of the near post.

His famous dad, Gheourghe, is watching him in action at Ibrox for the first time but still doesn't look terribly impressed in the stand!

Two stunning finishes tonight from Braga. He runs off Steve Davis, he's got plenty of room and time and, when the defenders eventually get to him, there's an angle he can reverse it into

I can't believe how sloppy Rangers have been tonight. This second half in particular. All they've done is just give the ball away in really poor areas. This game could be out of sight. They are really lacking sharpness

    End-to-end stuff right from kick-off.

A misplaced Glen Kamara pass sends Joao Palhinho clear, but the the forward makes a horrendous first touch and Rangers clear up the other end, where Alfredo Morelos races down the wing.

It's either a miss-hit cross or an audacious shot from a crazy angle, but the striker's powerful crossfield ball deceives goalkeeper Matheus and skims the crossbar.

  17. 'Forster's made a magnificent save' - Lennonpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2020

    FT: Copenhagen 1-1 Celtic

But for a Fraser Forster fingertip penalty save, Celtic might've been flying back to Glasgow trailing 2-1 as the goalkeeper provided yet another vital moment in this season's Europa League campaign.

As expected, Neil Lennon was full of praise for the Southampton loanee. Speaking on BBC Sportsound post-match, the Celtic manager added: "He’s brilliant, but that’s down to the work him and Stevie Woods do behind the scenes.

"I’ve no real complaints about the penalty, it has come off Ryan [Christie’s] arm in an unnatural position if you want to call it that and Fraser has done brilliantly.

"He’s made a magnificent save. I felt it would’ve been really harsh on us to have lost the game with the amount of chances [we had] and particularly the first half performance. We got the away goal so the tie is set-up nicely for going back to Glasgow."

  18. Celtic deserved first-leg lead - Lennonpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2020

    FT: Copenhagen 1-1 Celtic

Celtic will take an away goal advantage back to Glasgow for next week's second leg against Copenhagen following the earlier kick-off in Denmark.

It could've been more for Neil Lennon's side after a first half of clear-cut chances were wasted before their hosts took control after the break.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon tells BBC Scotland: "I thought we had good control of the first half. Going in 1-0 at half time, I felt we could’ve been two or three up.

"We gave away a poor goal from our point of view and it gave Copenhagen a huge lift psychologically. I felt, on the counter attack, we had great chances in the second half as well, so I’m disappointed we haven’t come away with more goals."

  19. HALF-TIME Rangers 0-1 Bragapublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 20 February 2020

Braga are the form team of the Portuguese top flight despite lying third and have continued where they left off from their win away to leaders Benfica with a superb first-half performance at Ibrox.

Captain's Fransergio stunning long-range strike was reward for an impressive start.

They could have been ahead before that 11th-minute opener and there have been chances since.

Alfredo Morelos has been denied a couple of times by goalkeeper Matheus and the Rangers striker's frustration was added to by a yellow card that rules him out of the second leg.

Manager Steven Gerrard has much to ponder at the break.
