A straight 4-4-2 isn't a formation Rangers have deployed much at all since Steven Gerrard has come to the club, but it's time to go for it, play open football with Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent playing as natural wide players

The big talking point is how will Celtic do without Scott Brown in the middle of the field. But Callum McGregor can slot well into different positions. The shape today also gets Leigh Griffiths up front with Odsonne Edouard - and they can be electric together

    Celtic v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Celtic will be delighted to hear the news from Perth and, although their nine-game winning run came to an end on Thursday, they remain unbeaten in 10 after their 1-1 draw away to Copenhagen in the Europa League.

Neil Lennon's side have only been at home twice during that run since their 2-1 defeat by Rangers and have yet to lose a goal - easing Ross County aside 3-0 then thumping Hearts 5-0.

Kilmarnock are looking to recover from Wednesday's thrilling 4-3 Scottish Cup defeat by Aberdeen, when they lost two goals late on in extra-time at Rugby Park.

However, they are unbeaten in their last two games on the road, beating Hearts then drawing with Aberdeen.

A Callum Hendry strike, conceded after some poor defending by Nikola Katic, has given in-form St Johnstone the lead and Steven Gerrard's side are starting a third successive away league defeat in the face.
