That's a massive chance - nobody near him. He's almost tried to place it but ended up scooping it high over. Poor defending again from Rangers to have somebody in the box with that much space

Rangers look wobbly defensively, but they do look at it going forward ever since the goal, from midfield to front. They're going to have to be to get back into this

It's end-to-end stuff and Ryan Jack chests down neatly before sending a volley from 20 yards that St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark does well to turn over the crossbar.

Callum Hendry shows his pace there to get the ball down and shows the composure to finish - what a goal from St Johnstone that is. Although that's the third mistake from Nikola Katic already

GOAL St Johnstone 1-0 Rangerspublished at 7mins

    Callum Hendry

A horrible piece of defending and St Johnstone take a surprise lead.

A long ball puts Nikola Katic in all sorts of trouble and, when the centre-half miss-hits his clearance high in the air, Callum Hendry pounces and fires low under goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

A decent chance for Rangers - it was a nothing ball and you would expect St Johnstone to command that and win the header

Rangers threaten immediately as a Ryan Jack free-kick finds Nikola Katic at the back post, but the big centre-half can only prod into the side netting under pressure.

  20. Have to be firing on all cylinders - Wrightpublished at 13:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 February 2020

    St Johnstone v Rangers (13:30)

St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright says his side have to be "firing on all cylinders" to get a result against Rangers.

"We have had a lot of games," he tells Sky Sports. "We're going with two up top because we need to win matches to try and get into the top six.

"Games are running out, so we are going to try and be positive, which is going to be difficult against a really good side, but that will be our aim.

"Rangers' second-half performance against Braga was excellent and shows how good they are. They won't want to lose ground on Celtic.

"We gifted them goals in the second-half last time - we can't do that. We need to be firing on all cylinders and we have people who can cause them problems"
