  1. CLOSE!published at 34 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Arsenal

There we go! That's more like it. David Silva flicks it out to Raheem Sterling on the left, he drops a shoulder and burns inside, hitting a low swerving shot toward the corner but Bernd Leno gets over to save.

    Much better from City.

Eddie Nketiah was pulled back there wasn't he? No. Play on says the ref.

We've had more injuries than shots on target so far.

It is a good game, it is lively and a decent pace. It would be nice to have a goal but I've watched a lot of games - particularly in the Bundesliga and at the start they were desperately dull and slow.

You've not missed much at City. The Premier League's reboot not going as well as they would have all hoped so far.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder: "I think the goalkeeper was in the Holte End when he caught it - or dragged it back. My issue is obviously one of frustration. Seven cameras haven't picked it up - the most technical league in the world - everything we see at every angle and it hasn't seen a goal. That is disappointing from our point of view.

"We went to Tottenham last year, John Lundstram's big toe was offside and I was hanging around at White Hart Lane in the pouring rain for 10 minutes waiting for a decision. I don't understand why I can't wait 10 minutes in Birmingham.

"The statement has come out and it is unprecedented, unbelievable. I did have a laugh and joke beforehand that we have had some poor decisions go against us and I said I wouldn't bet against one going against us this evening.

"We were waiting for somebody at Stockley Park to show a bit of courage and say they will make that decision but if they've not seen it and seven cameras haven't seen it I suppose he will say that it was not their decision to make.

"It was a really strange afternoon and evening. Quite difficult as well. We should never underestimate the effect of playing in front of supporters. That was quite difficult for both sets of players. Most times we would be talking about a pretty average game but we are not, we are talking about a decision that has affected the result.

"We were all going into the unknown today. I thought the tempo would have been a bit quicker. I love coming to this place. We've had some great battles. It is a club I have a huge amount of respect for but it is double difficult - you can't replicate it when there is no-one in the ground."

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 24 mins

    Manchester City 0-0 Arsenal

David Luiz is on for Pablo Mari. Luiz's contract is up apparently at the end of the month so we may not see him in the shirt many more times.

Kyle Walker! He's fast, but not that fast - he's breezed through the Arsenal defence. He should do better but can't cut it back to a man in blue.

Ah, that's why he opened up such a gap. Pablo Mari has twanged something. A second injury for the Arsenal already.

I've gone nearly 20 minutes without mentioning Liverpool but an Arsenal win tonight would mean that Jurgen Klopp's side could clinch their maiden Premier League title against Everton on Sunday.

Won't that be nice for everyone?

The feed I had of the Villa game was without artificial crowd noise, this one has it. I much prefer it with, though this is not as good as the Bundesliga one.

That has really kicked on. The ref gets booed if he doesn't give a foul, they pick out individual players. Give it a few weeks and we may have the same. This is more 'generic-0-0-crowd.wav'

Eddie Nketiah has made a lively start, nipping in front of a defender to meet a decent ball in from the right but he can only nudge a shot wide. This game has had an OK start but we'd love a goal.

Without banging on about it, what's the point of having goalline technology that can be blocked out by a goalkeeper? They're quite commonly found in goals.

Did anyone else think the system was a bit more sophisticated? I thought it was a Nasa satellite or something not just a bloke watching a feed.
