What different decision? "Different decision to try and decide my future as early as possible but I didn't. I don't want to use that as an excuse, it was my fault and that is it.
"I love to be here that is why I continue to train hard and that is why I came today. Nobody asked me to speak, it is up to me to show my face. I want to stay. The coach knows and wants me to stay, we are waiting for the decisions."

"White people should say sorry for the way we have treated black people for 400 years," he said. "I am ashamed."

Manchester City goalscorer Raheem Sterling to Sky Sports: "It’s been a confusing last couple of weeks. We're all buzzing to be back in the stadium and put in a good effort.
"We expected it to be weird but the message after the break was to find something inside ourselves and dig deep.
"First 10 minutes we were getting used to the atmosphere but after that I thought we controlled the game well."
On players taking a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement: "I see it as a massive step for the Premier League to allow something like that to happen and it shows we're going in the right direction.
"Little by little we’re seeing change. It was natural, it was organic. We saw the teams do it in the earlier kick-off and thought it was something we had to do as well."

"I am happy with the performance of the team. I see in a good shape, the team, which is a good thing for the next few games.

Unintended consequences and all that...
6,500km (4,000 miles) away in Nigeria's commercial capital, Lagos, there was little sign of any social distancing as crowds flocked to watch tonight's game.
As the English Premier League resumed, the Sir T pub, in the mainland part of Lagos where there are poor neighbourhoods, was packed with football lovers who defied heavy rain - almost all cheering for Arsenal, who enjoy huge and dedicated support among Nigeria's millions of football fans.
Less than 50 metres from the pub was a police checkpoint where officers began enforcing a curfew that began from 22:00, a few minutes before the game ended.
"I have been at home for too long, I have missed football," said Tochukwu, an Arsenal fan who kept raising his face mask intermittently to sip his beer.
