  1. CLOSE!published at 59 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

    Ahhhhhh that was it!

Spurs break, Gio lo Celso looks up and slots it into the run of Harry kane, he sweeps it left footed into the far corner...

Except it rolls inches wide of the post. Jose can't believe it.

  2. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Yep, I think we might be on to something. Declan Rice, who I didn't actually recognise with his lockdown hair, drives forwards, beats his man and hits a good-looking shot which flies away off a defender.

  3. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Dele Alli is next to shoot from range, he too tenses up and pulls it wide though. At least it feels like we might get a goal from somewhere.

This week has proved - if we didn't know it already - that fans are the real driving force in football.

  5. CLOSE!published at 54 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Well you've just got to do better than that! Jarrod Bowen does brilliantly to engineer space on the right and pick out a lovely ball into the heart of the Tottenham area. Pablo Fornals is free, peeled into space, and he pulls it wide, duffs it with his calf, wasn't a proper connection.

Harry Kane then flashes one over from 20 yards which was a much better strike.

Marvin Happe: So this is poor from the Hammers. The club should offer the away fans their money back at least.

Peter: Are goals still a thing in Covidball?

  7. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

Close again! Good approach play, Spurs moving the ball better, Serge Aurier drills the cross to the near post where Harry Kane's attempted backheel is smothered by Lukasz Fabianski.

Kane is then booked for leaving one on a defender.

  8. CLOSE!published at 49 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 West Ham

That's one way to try and find a way through a packed defence. Eric Dier strides forward from centre-back, finds a gap, charges through it and then curls in a shot from 25 yards.

It's wide, bit not far wide. Good effort!

Errrr, you can watch Norwich v Everton? From 2020, unfortunately.

No crowds and VAR are ruining modern day football... what 1990's Euros match is on tomorrow lunchtime?

Lucas Moura has looked sharp tonight - straight away he beats a man and is close to nipping it on to Harry Kane. Get the ball to the number 27, Spurs...

No goals in Spain yet either but that at least sounds promising.

I wouldn't begrudge you for leaving me - that's over here.

As a football fan this is a tough match to watch, but as a West Ham fan I just want us to stay up, even if that means dull football.

Hmmm, yes, I mean there were two different systems in operation there but broadly speaking the point is a fair one.

That was a shambles at Villa Park.

VAR can spot a marginal offside but can't see a goalie holding a ball well behind the line!
