    Southampton 0-0 Arsenal

    Steven Reid
Former Blackburn midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live sports extra

Great ball by Kieran Tierney and that is the angle Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang loves. I watched him bury a few of those in the warm-up and he will be disappointed.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

    Southampton 0-0 Arsenal

Good start by Arsenal as they go close again.

This time they do manage to get in behind the Southampton defence through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who smashes a fierce shot past Alex McCarthy but it hits the underside of the bar and bounces away to safety.

    So close for the Gunners.

That is what Arsenal can do. They have the ability to open you up at any second, and it's a warning sign.

What a strike and what a save. It's a very good chance for Burnley early on though.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 18:10 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

Good chance for Burnley as Jay Rodriguez latches onto a ball over the defence but Ben Foster bats away his powerful strike.

  6. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

    Southampton 0-0 Arsenal

This time Arsenal have the ball in the back of the net as Bukayo Saka appears to get behind the defence and squares for Eddie Nketiah, who taps in, but the flag is immediately up and Saka was way offside.

First shot on target goes Arsenal's way but it is a rather tame effort by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - straight at the keeper.

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Are we at Burnley? It is absolutely roasting. They were watering the pitch before, it's perfect football conditions tonight.

Both teams have to go for a win tonight.

I am really excited to see Troy Deeney and Danny Welbeck up top together for Watford.

  9. Postpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Watford

Early free kick for Watford in a decent position. Will Hughes lifts the ball towards the far post and no-one is picking up Craig Dawson - did Burnley's players not see his overhead kick antics? This time, though, the defender opts for a powerful header but it is straight at Nick Pope.

  10. Postpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

    Southampton 0-0 Arsenal

Southampton, sensing a bit of a wounded animal, are on the hunt from the outset against Arsenal as Nathan Redmond gets the ball down the left before sending a cross to the back post but it is too long and goes out of play.

Under way in both games and once again all the players take a knee just after kick off in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

    A powerful image.

    Burnley v Watford (18:00 GMT)

    Karen Carney
    Former England and Chelsea winger

The Watford dressing room is full of character. Look at Troy Deeney and the manager as well. They have the personality and the structure. I can see them being fine. If they get a result today it will give them that bit of breathing space.

Nigel Pearson looks like he has got the football club back in order.

Craig Smith: I really hope Arteta finds a way to motivate this Arsenal team for the remainder of the season. With limited transfers funds, this is the crop of players he will likely have next season (possibly with Aubameyang sold). If he can’t do it now can he do it all?

  17. Guendouzi absence 'squad management'published at 17:56 British Summer Time 25 June 2020

No Matteo Guendouzi in the Arsenal squad today. Asked about his absence, boss Mikel Arteta said: "It's squad management".

Guendouzi was involved in a clash with Brighton's Neal Maupay at the weekend, and Arteta added: “Whatever internal issue we have, we deal with it privately.

"The needs of the team and the football club are the same, putting the best players on the pitch who are 100% focused to win the game."

I like Mikel Arteta and I enjoy listening to him speak. He stays clam and I think that is what the players are going to need. They have to keep it tight tonight because if they lose a third on the spin, it will be worrying times.
