Something we needed to do was win and I thought we played well. It's important to get into the habit of scoring goals. Automatic promotion is always possible until it's not possible. We've got to keep going anyway and we'll see where it takes us.

Lewis Grabban, Nottm Forest goalscorer told Sky Sports

Just as you think a one-sided second half is dawdling towards a conclusion, we have a goal, red card, penalty and another goal in the last 10 minutes.

It doesn't change the result though - it's a big three points for Sabri Lamouchi on his one-year anniversary as Forest boss while Huddersfield have some soul-searching to do as they brace themselves for another relegation scrap.

Two Lewis Grabban strikes either side of half-time and a Ryan Yates goal did the trick for the hosts.

    Forest are home and dry!

Sub Joao Carvalho forces Jonas Lossl into a fine save and from the resulting corner Ryan Yates sticks out a boot at the near post to prod in Joe Lolley's cross.

    Sub-standard defending costs Huddersfield dear.

  13. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Nottm Forest 2-0 Huddersfield

Forest don't exactly look assured in seeing this out but their opponents seem to lack the quality in the final third to make it difficult for them.

Harry Toffolo skies an effort in the empty stand for Huddersfield, which just about sums up their second half display.

  14. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Nottm Forest 2-0 Huddersfield

Karlan Grant - playing off the left-hand side - has time to get his head up and play a pass into the middle but it's too far ahead of Emile Smith Rowe and the hosts clear.

Moments later Grant gets the ball in the area but the Huddersfield man overruns the ball into a Forest defender.

As it stands Forest are moving above Fulham into fourth on goal difference, and seven points clear of seventh-placed Preston.

Huddersfield, meanwhile, will stay in the relegation zone on goal difference.

There are 11 minutes to go, plus stoppages.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 77 mins

    Nottm Forest 2-0 Huddersfield

It's a very strong hand from Forest keeper Brice Samba to save Juninho Bacuna's free-kick over the wall.

However Samba seems to have injured himself in the process and is receiving treatment. He gets up, stretches and will soldier on.

Juninho Bacuna's first act after coming on sees him draw a lunging foul from Joe Lolley.

Huddersfield have a free-kick in a prime shooting position. Bacuna himself to take.

    Changes. Many of them.

Huddersfield bring on Fraizer Campbell, Jon Stankovic and Juninho Bacuna for Chris Willock, Richard Stearman and Demeaco Duhaney.

There are also two substitutions for Forest - Nuno da Costa and Joao Carvalho replacing the influential Sammy Ameobi and Tiago Silva.

Terriers striker Karlan Grant is down but picks himself back up and looks OK to continue.

In the meantime, both sets of players take their allocated drinks break.

  20. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Nottm Forest 2-0 Huddersfield

The hosts pile forward again and perhaps Lewis Grabban is a tad greedy on this occasion as he chases that hat-trick ball.

He's picked out by Ben Watson's long pass and tries to take on Richard Stearman despite team-mate Sammy Ameobi being in a good position.

The ball breaks for Joe Lolley, whose shot is off-target.
