  1. YELLOW CARD (Luton)published at 16:16 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Hull 0-0 Luton

Luton's James Collins is very lucky to still be on the pitch.

After being fouled by Hull defender Angus MacDonald, Collins appears to push his head into his opponent's midriff - forcing him to the ground.

But the Hatters' striker gets away with a booking.

That Millwall leveller didn't get them on terms for long.

Ryan Manning finds the bottom corner from 20 yards out, the keeper should probably do better.

The R's don't want to make it four defeats in a row at home, all to do again for Millwall, their play-off hopes are fading.

  3. GOOD SHOT, GOOD SAVE!published at 16:13 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Preston 1-0 Birmingham

Preston keeper Declan Rudd produces an acrobatic save to tip Gary Gardner's powerful effort over the bar. That's a fine stop.

    Matt Smith (49 mins)

It's the equaliser for the visitors.

  5. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Hull 0-0 Luton

Luton have started this second half well, getting a bit of joy down the left and winning several corners.

On the face of it a draw is no good for either side but with Wigan's 12-point deduction hanging over them it would give both sides a chance of staying up on the final day.

Let me remind you that if either side is beaten here, they're effectively relegated.

  6. goal

GOAL: Fulham 3-1 Sheff Wedpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Atdhe Nuhiu, pen (49 mins)

After Marek Rodak fouls Jacob Murphy in the area, Sheffield Wednesday pull one back from the spot as half-time substitute Atdhe Nuhiu sends the keeper the wrong way and drills in to the bottom corner.

  9. Postpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Preston 1-0 Birmingham

Birmingham are without a victory in the Championship since February and not technically safe from relegation yet, with Wigan having appealed against their 12-point deduction. The managerless Blues will want a big second half here, to make absolutely sure of staying up.

As for Preston, this scoreline could keep their faint play-off hopes alive, but both of the games involving Cardiff and Swansea aren't going North End's way at the moment.

  10. SUBSTITUTION (Bristol City)published at 16:06 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Swansea 1-0 Bristol City

Trailing at the interval and with only a very small chance of snatching sixth place, managerless Bristol City have made a change.

Pedro Pereira is on for Jack Hunt as the Robins chase at least two goals to turn this around.

We're getting under way in the second halves of our seven ongoing Championship matches.

Plenty still to be decided at the top and bottom of the table. A big 45 minutes ahead.

    Neeskens KebanoImage source, Rex Features
    • Fulham are set to keep their slim hopes of automatic promotion alive - Neeskens Kebano's opener and two goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic have given Scott Parker's side a 3-0 lead against Sheffield Wednesday.
    • Sean Morrison's early header has put Cardiff in front at Middlesbrough. It won't quite be enough to confirm a play-off spot just yet as Swansea are beating Bristol City, but Millwall are losing at QPR.
    • Hull and Luton, who both began their match inside the bottom three, are goalless at the interval.
    • Blackburn lead Reading 2-1, while Preston are a goal to the good against Birmingham.

After that flurry of late first-half goals, we've got half-time whistles starting to blow across the Championship.

We'll bring you the main headlines shortly...

    Preston 1-0 Birmingham

    Paul Fletcher
    BBC Sport at Deepdale

Preston just about value for their lead - though Blues' defending from the corner that led to the goal was awful.

Nobody cut out the corner and eventually it dropped for the waiting Patrick Bauer to slot home when in all honesty he was up there to compete for a header.

Floodlights were on before the half-hour mark and a drinks break where a nice cup of tea might have done a better job than an icy glass of water - this is Championship football at Deepdale in July.

Take out the crowd and you soon realise what an extraordinary amount of shouting takes place on a football pitch.

  18. goal

GOAL: Swansea 1-0 Bristol Citypublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Connor Roberts (45+1 mins)

Swansea aren't quite done in the race for the play-offs.

Conor Gallagher's shot hits the post and rebounds to Connor Roberts, who finds the net.

Bristol City's slim play-off hopes appear to be all but over.

  19. goal

GOAL: Preston 1-0 Birminghampublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Patrick Bauer (43 mins)

Preston break the deadlock at Deepdale as Paul Gallagher's right-wing corner goes over all the near-post heads and is placed in to the bottom corner by Patrick Bauer's well-struck, first-time finish, taking it on the bounce.

Birmingham won't be pleased to concede from a corner like that.

  20. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-0 Millwallpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 18 July 2020

    Conor Masterson (43 mins)

This is a blow for Millwall's play-off hopes.

The corner comes in and Bartosz Bialkowski saves a great header from Yoann Barbet and Conor Masterson is there to put away the rebound.
