    Norwich 1-1 Man Utd

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC One

I was saying I thought he'd been Norwich's best player. What a strike this is! They've worked the ball so well in this half but the way he struck it from so far out, at the time I felt like Sergio Romero should have done better. But, it is swerving away from him, with power, and maybe he was unsighted by the keeper too.

GOAL - Norwich 1-1 Man Utdpublished at 75 mins

    Todd Cantwell

    Great strike!

There was only one man who was going to get Norwich back in this contest and it is he who equalises for the hosts.

Todd Cantwell picks the ball up 25 yards out, there are two Red shirts in front of him, but the young Englishman weaves a precise shot in between the two, past the reach of Sergio Romero, and into the bottom corner.

Norwich back on terms with 15 to go.

There's definitely more pace to the game. I think it will still open up more because Norwich will have to gamble.

Ah, he'd have been offside and it was going wide anyway. It looked far worse than it actually was!

Drinks break once again and it gives us another chance to look at that Norwich chance.

Seems like the ball was going wide when it hit Ben Godfrey on the back of the net.

    Norwich 0-1 Man Utd

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC One

There’s nothing he could do about it but how unfortunate because I think he’s slipping as well as the ball comes towards him so it’s not where they’re planted and he can move.

Norwich's Godfrey inadvertently denies Canaries equaliser

OH MY GOODNESS!! You rarely ever see this happening.

Norwich have a free-kick on the left which Emiliano Buendia curls in brilliantly, vicious with plenty of pace.

It is flicked on by a Timm Klose and arrowing towards the far corner but Norwich defender Ben Godfrey does United a favour by inadvertently clearing it off the line.

What a let-off for the visitors.

Norwich have responded well to the goal they conceded - they've shown some bite and fight.

Norwich try to break but Todd Cantwell overcooks his pass towards Onel Hernandez on the left.

The Norwich man then hits the deck and stays down after being clipped by Scott McTominay but no further action is taken.

    Much ado about nothing.

I hugely disagree with Paul (see 18:44 post). United need a player like Ighalo. Someone who plays with their heart on their sleeve, like every game could be their last. He plays with a passion we've not seen since Roy Keane. Drives the other players on and does the job he is paid to do.

    Donal in Helensburgh

Paul (see 18:44 post) - don't you think Guardiola wishes he had Ighalo to cover for an injured Aguero rather than playing false 9s?! He's a great squad player who scores goals and loves the club. A fantastic signing who shows the club is heading in the right direction.

A lot of attention is given to Bruno Fernandes' passing but work ethic is excellent too.

The Portuguese plays a stray pass and then sprints 60-odd yards to try and win it back from Teemu Pukki.
